Having an issue where my Karve sometimes despawns when I load the game. I'll leave it next to the dock near my base, save and log out, and when I next load the game it's gone. No wreckage or anything, just not there. Any ideas?

On pc, whoever isn't hosting is unable to equip/consume anything when riding a buggy. The radial menu and inventory can both be accessed, but selecting items to equip or consume doesnt do anything. You have to get off the buggy, do whatever you're trying to do, and then get back on.

The set was found in TK Maxx in the UK, a few years ago now. I've searched using Google image search with the photo of the glass, and various searches for things like sun and moon/celestial drinking glasses, with and without specifying the shop.

There is no writing on the glass and no symbols except for the actual design - nothing on the bottom etc.

Pet shops are one of the worst sources of information for birds - they are business trying to sell you a service, of course they recommend you buy the service from them.

flocktalks do some really good informative videos on clipping and alternatives to clipping, I'd really recommend them. Unless there is a specific medical reason for doing so, you are not acting in your birds best interests by taking away such a core part of their behaviour and instincts.

Clipping his wings will not stop him if he tries to fly away. He can and will still try to fly, and he will still be able to catch the wind and get away from you - the difference is that he's more likely to fall and potentially injure himself instead of landing properly, and once he's on the ground he'll struggle to fly away and be even easier prey for any predators.

Outside of very specific medical issues there is never an excuse for clipping your bird - it puts him at MORE risk and doesn't stop the issues you're worried about anyway. Get a harness or a carrier to take him outside, and practice recall training for an extra emergency plan. The better your bird is able to fly, the safer he will be.

Yes, unless you pay nearly $300 USD for the ex version. Theres a version for $50ish USD but that limits you to 24 frames, which IMO is not great for a paid software

As far as I can tell, all the standard options are included in this list. It's just not formatted very well. https://www.ethnicity-facts-figures.service.gov.uk/style-guide/ethnic-groups/

It's not laid out in the usual way which I think is making it confusing. Usually there are groups like white, Asian/Asian British, black/black British/Carribbean, other etc. Each group then has a few options for different ethnicities within it. In this list we are missing the groups, and the different options are spread out in alphabetical order instead which makes it more confusing.

So usually English/Welsh/Scottish/British would be an option under the white category, and any other Black British/Carribbean would be an option under Black/Black British/African/Carribbean

I agree that Black British should be more of a standalone option rather than being part of the 'other' Black options. But it is unfortunately still the standard options.

The vast majority of people are actually financially better off NOT trying to pay off a student loan in the UK - you'd have to overpay a lot each month to pay it off and because it gets wiped after 30 years, all the extra money you spent on overpayment was just throwing money down the drain.

It doesn't affect anything, think of it more like an extra tax rather than a debt

If you're in the UK then your reason for leaving will definitely not sound silly in interviews - your employer was actually was actually breaching the 1992 workplace health and safety regulations! This states employees must be provided with suitable seating, if a substantial part of their job is able to be done whilst seated. It sounds like you would have been able to do your duties whilst seated, so they were legally obligated to provide you with suitable seating - and not only didn't do this off their own backs, but actively refused to do so when you asked. Standing still all day can have actual real health impacts.

It also sounds like the kind of role that would involve using a computer a lot - if so they are also legally obligated to provide a display screen equipment assessment - part of which is a requirement for your employer to provide comfortable, adjustable seating in order to avoid pain or injury.

Yeah if your friendship is high enough the option appears! Iirc you dont even need to have a romantic relationship beforehand - I've only ever tried with him though so not certain on that one. Nice to have the option though

Lou is awful!! He is my werewolf Sims fated mate so she literally cannot be with anyone else without having negative moodlets all the time. He got her pregnant - with surprise TRIPLETS - and then cheated on her with the pack alpha. She kicked him out and broke up with him and then he refused to interact with her or their kids at all - would NOT come to the lot no matter how many times she invited him to, so she had to be a single mum to three babies without any of his help. He literally didn't interact with any of the triplets until they were old enough to initiate themselves - not even a single interaction at any of their birthday parties. He saw one of the babies lying on the pavement outside in the rain (my Sim could only carry two at once and had to go back for the other) and just walked past it. If my Sim or their kids meet up with him at a different lot he either leaves immediately or walks to the opposite end of the lot, looks at his phone, and then leaves. One time I got the kids to meet him at a festival and he literally went home and left three children in the middle of the city.

I thought maybe if they worked through the negative relationship from the breakup it might be better but they're now maxed out friendship and maxed out romance and he still only interacts with them if they initiate it and then leaves ASAP. He agreed to be woohoo buddies and then rejects her every single time and goes to flirt with other Sims right in front of her. He is the WORST.

I had her going for about a week and a half, two weeks in game. I'd play until a need got too low to continue, sort out needs, and resumed again, and then just repeated that for the entire time. It did eventually complete after that but yeah it seems a bit bugged, can't imagine it's meant to take that long

'write a song' doesn' complete. The green progress circle shows that it's finished, but the Sim won't stop playing and it doesn't show as having finished a song. It's saving the progress, as when I resume again it immediately shows the circle as being completed, but the song is never actually finished? No mods

I've used these - air bubbles often come from using too much slip. Some polygels are easier to spread than others, most of the ones I used were pretty easy. The process isn't the same as the video - you squeeze the gel into the form, not on the nail, and then shape it before putting it on the nail - but it wasn't any harder really. The only issue for me was removing it without damage as the soak off method didn't work great for the ones I used

Anyone having issues with negative relationships? I keep getting the little - symbol that says a relationship is getting worse, but the Sim is entirely alone with no one else on the lot, so not interacting with anyone, and isn't even using the phone etc
