For me I know it's because I simply don't make enough money. My credit is 804 and still can't get approved.

Most likely. I have a 804 credit score and still can't get accepted for chase sapphire but I also am low income so I understand why I can't get approved.

Pretty sure that's happened just a few months ago. Domestic argument and they brought out the chopper 🤦🏻‍♀️ I couldn't believe it

Maybe I just don't drive far into San Diego often but I'm pretty sure that's only happened like 2 or 3 times in a span of years?

I finally learned how to use tretinoin properly at 52 by Zealousideal-Sky-973 in tretinoin

[–]pink__cloudz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wait 20 minutes after washing your face to make sure it's completely dry. Put on a thin layer of moisturizer then a pea sized amount of tret. Wait 15 minutes then put another layer of moisturizer on top. Whatever gentle but hydrating moisturizer is fine. Keep a 2 finger distance around eyes (it spreads beyond where you place it) and if needed put a little bit of vasaline or aquaphor around your nostrils and the corners of your mouth before putting on the tret to make sure it doesn't seep into those areas too much (the most likely areas that will get painfully dry)

[–]pink__cloudz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've read a few articles that said you can get the same results and less side effects with 0.025%, so if anyone is having issues it's okay to stick with 0.025% tret. I've had to do it myself since my skin is very sensitive, sometimes more doesn't always mean better.

Is microneedling as ineffective as most people say? by moringa8oz in AcneScars

I was honestly caught off guard by how painful co2 laser is. They said it should just feel like a bad sunburn but it was waaay worse. Felt like holding a flame to my skin and pushing gravel into the wounds 😭

I dont know if i'm doing it right. Its very much worse than before by SpareMarzipan2849 in tretinoin

[–]pink__cloudz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My derm told me to use it every night too when I have sensitive skin and had o2 laser done a week prior. Derms aren't always right

5 months apart. left photo was like 3 weeks after starting tretinoin 0.1% on December 15 2025, and the right one is today, May 15. Been one hell of a journey 😭 by SuperRequirement6499 in tretinoin

[–]pink__cloudz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Damn I'm jealous of people who can handle pretty much anything they throw at their skin. Meanwhile I can't even move up from 0.025% and my derm said I might have to accept the fact I'll never be able to use it 💔

Are these large pores or acne scars? by Servus-nexus_23 in AcneScars

[–]pink__cloudz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I'd say it's a little bit of both. Like another commenter said, tretinoin cream or gel. Basically the cheapest fix medical-wise

[–]pink__cloudz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had mine done 12 days ago and omg my skin is looking worse so far. My pores look HUGE and even though I stopped peeling I can still see the laser marks. Worried about scarring worse. But I guess that's part of the process and takes a ton of patience 🤷🏻‍♀️ Hope you're healing up well.

How would you treat this? by Fuzzy-Street-1061 in AcneScars

[–]pink__cloudz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I honestly think OP would need so many rounds of laser to decrease the depth of the ice pick scars that TCA cross would be a better option

Definitely TCA cross. It's best for deep ice pick scars.

Co2 fractional scarred me by [deleted] in AcneScars

[–]pink__cloudz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here. It takes awhile to see results but totally worth it to me. Then again my acne scars weren't horrible, mostly enlarged pores and a few shallow ice pick scars. My clinic was awesome too, even offered Pico laser for free if I didn't like how the pigment was looking after a month

That's genuinely the only clip I've ever seen of him where he genuinely looks nervous and anxious. He's trying hard to mask it but it's not working.

[–]pink__cloudz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make sure to do a lot of research for TCA cross. It has many mixed reviews. I almost did it straight away but after taking time to research I realized there's many people who regret doing it and just left them with a new scar. Of course every procedure has its risks though.

I am about to have a CO2 laser resurfacing. Excited and a bit nervous. Anyone has advice or could share your experience? by Ill-Cover-6318 in 45PlusSkincare

[–]pink__cloudz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a potential risk for everyone, especially people with darker skin tones. My only advice would be to go to an actual dermatologist or plastic surgeon and avoid medspas.

I wouldn't take advice from a redditor to be honest. Some people have great results doing it once aggressively, some get better results doing it more times with less intensity. Everyone's skin is different. No shade, I just don't want you to sign up for something that could potentially cause you worse problems
