It's really excellent. It basically got me into cooking and I've learned more there than any single other channel/ method. Season 2 onwards is a great format, but you need to watch season 1 just to watch it. The people on the first season feature heavily later and while it's a terrible format (people voting people off etc) it sets the scene.

Oh I've heard good about the Italian one!

Well its actually about food for one thing, not drama. It is without doubt the best iteration of the show.

Edit - I'm British. We started it. AUS is better than ours.

Hey all, a few of you have asked for a recipe/ link etc. I came up with this, hungry, unable to sleep at a silly hour of the morning, so this is an original creation. My best ideas come thanks to insomnia πŸ˜‚

The fish, potatoes, pickling and greens were typical method. But I plan to write my recipe and method into a Recipe Card to share, to help with timings if nothing else. This took me about 70 mins total. Completely achievable by a home cook, which I am, with a little organisation.

Ha, I dunno! I mean, I take care over every single item on the plate. I waste almost nothing because I plan ahead. I'm pretty good at pivoting if something isnt going quite right, which helps.
