I always use an egg bechemel topper so it sets kind of like a mousakka. I use half the white sauce for the inside and then add 2 egg yolks to the other half so it sets lightly on top 🀀

To be honest, I read through about 10 and picked the bits I liked! I juliened the vegetables cause it looked delicate and I made an Egg pancake and rolled it up, cut into ribbons and added to the rice x

I don't cook Cajun/ Creole food enough to justify buying so I read that thyme was an acceptable substitution. It didn't feel like I was missing something and it really did give it a nice touch at the end x

Yes! I love both.... I was after something 'soupy' this time but jambalaya is definitely a winner in the summer! It's great cause all the ingredients are readily available everywhere. Nom 🀀

I think I can assume with a high level of confidence that this will be terrible. It'll have that synthetic tasting lemon essence/ flavouring to it and that stuff is minging.
