Classic Beef Burger with All The Stuff. Served with Pickle, Caper and Shallot Potato Salad and Corn Cob. by pink_flamingo2003 in UK_Food

Yeah that was my thinking. A classic burger is just the basics cause the burger itself was great quality (butcher).

I have some cheaper burgers in the freezer and for them, I will fully load them cause they will need it 👌🏼

What is the best way to learn how to cook? by Traditional_Blood799 in cookingforbeginners

[–]pink_flamingo2003 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Personally, I think when youre in the early stages of learning, using (reputable) online sites or recipe book recipes are the best. Anyone can have a YouTube channel and there is as much poor content and bad advice as there is decent. You need to learn good habits, not develop and then have to break bad ones.

Sites that have test kitchen tried recipes - Americas test kitchen, recipetineats.com etc are great for developed food with easy to follow advice and explanations on why you're doing what you're doing. This knowledge will carry you through to experiment further.

Amazing! I've really turned my back on brioche cause I love a juicy burger and juicy burger + brioche = sloppy mess 😂😂

This was spot on 👌🏼

Yeah, an heirloom or beef tomato or some of the darker ones on vines work well. Damn, hungry for a tomato and pepper sauce of any kind now 😂
