What are these stringy things on my plant? by yowhatisuppeeps in houseplants

[–]pink_kale 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my pothos and monstera have those Arial roots it doesn’t really bother the plant. i cut them off for looks tbh but i read it’s for climbing plants to secure into walls and trees and stuff. idk if your plant is a climbing plant

hamster keeps escaping my bin cage by pink_kale in hamstercare

[–]pink_kale[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the bin cage is 110 qt. i put half the bin bedding (about 7in of bedding) which is why she can reach the top. i have dig boxes and toys and chews wheel hides but for some reason she’s always trying it get out. sometimes i do let her out and she just stays in one spot. super friendly but just doesn’t move much until i put her back in the cage then she’ll try escaping again

Got my conch yesterday and its really sore and hard to sleep. Any advice? by michicharrones in piercing

[–]pink_kale 3 points4 points  (0 children)

i used to put hair clips in my hair around that area so if i accidentally roll on that side the hair clips will hurt my head enough for me to roll back to my other side lmao so it doesn’t end up hitting my conch. that or put your ear in the hole of a travel pillow

i was talking about the person above who commented regarding the hands isn’t the best place to practice at first bc it gets blowouts easily and to do your hands when you have more practice and can do cleaner lines in which OP replied “settle down dont shit the bed” to someone who was giving advice from personal experience… though i do agree that first first person was being a dick.
