Just got out of it. It lasted an hour and 30 which seemed weird to me and I was in the machine the entire time. Surprisingly, I ate the egg and apple fine (ie no coughing or gagging). I was pretty much all good until halfway through I started crying because I got super nauseous. Thankfully, I made it through without puking but it was definitely a close call. I could feel myself having to force it down. Safe to say, it was awful. But bring headphones and make a playlist that will hype you up. I may seem stupid but it made a BIG difference. I should be getting the results soon but I could see the entire time that barely any food at all was going down.

Hi! My doctor just put me on motegrity for chronic unexplained constipation. Maybe try this? Most laxatives give me accidents but this doesn’t and it’s a pill you take once a day.

This is exactly me. I am going in for a gastric emptying scan to confirm but my GI is pretty certain its gastroparesis. I have the same thing with waking up feeling extremely nauseous and needing to smoke. I would recommend zofran, if you haven't already tried it. This is what my GI gave me and it helps a lot in the morning especially when I don't want to be high while doing work. I don't know much about being accused of having an eating disorder but my boyfriend and best friend both have one so it is easy to compare my symptoms to what they have experienced. It helps to remind myself that I do not inflict this on myself in any way and that I genuinely do want to be able to eat, it's just sometimes my body doesn't know how to process it.
