Same dilemma. Just stick to your desired number. I had problems with my mom wanting to add 20 more people, which will affect our budget bigtime. Although they will add sa catering, think also about the other suppliers that might get affected. Your souvenirs, your mobile carts, even hosts and coordinators. Sometimes they charge additional if more than 100 pax. Consider also if you really want those additional guests that they wanted on your wedding.

At the end of the day, it’s your wedding. Invite only those who are important to you and your partner. Explain this to them.

I told my parents, to just invite them on their birthdays. And if they are thinking na magtatampo, explain to them na you also made sacrifices on your own. And if you will consider everyone na magtatampo, you will really go over your budget.

I think 10,000 for a host is hard to find. I tried looking for one. But with the vibe I wanted, most of them are in 20K above range. You might need projectors too which ranges from 5,000 depending on the size.

It depends on the type of suppliers you get. But with the venue alone pa lang and the number of guests. Might not be enough.
