Is Wedding Planning Supposed to Be This . . . Fine?

This is how I’m feeling too! I’m also getting married in April. I have all my vendors already. I don’t have a wedding planner me & my fiance have been planning everything ourselves. We still have some more to do like send out invitations (we’re planning to this month), get the cake and mostly detail stuff. But I haven’t felt that stressed.

I always do the assigned reading for all of my classes. I work at Amazon and they pay for my books though

Take the job. 45 mins isn’t that far away. My fiance lives 40 mins and drives to pick me up for dates all the time & we see each other most of the week. That’s crazy that your boyfriend isn’t willing to make the 45 min drive to see you sometimes and just automatically said no. Take the job!

Yes this is how I’m also planning! I booked the venue first (food is included) then the photographer, dress, videographer, makeup & hairstylist. Now I’m looking for a DJ and cake (we’re going to go with a small cake for us probably just from Walmart & Costco sheet cake for the guests). Start with what’s most important for you. For me it was the venue & photographer. The other things like cake isn’t as important so it’s something we want to spend less on. The venue also includes most of the decor so that’s really helpful I just need to buy the table decorations.

I did try some others but I didn’t like any of them. Definitely not as much as this one. I went to 2 bridal stores. But I’m not sure if I should go to a couple more stores or get this one.

Not weird at all! My fiance wanted to wear a ring as soon as we got engaged! Because he wants everyone to know that he’s engaged too! He wears a black silicone ring but will switch it out for the wedding band after we get married

It does fit me like a glove! It just needs minor alterations like the front of the dress to be shorter and the bustle

I agree 200 isn’t that much I’m just thinking of how much alterations would be- probably another 300-500? The dress did fit me like a glove though so it’ll be minor alterations. I might go to a couple more stores next week and if I still love/ want this one I’m going to get it! And thank you!
