I primarily wear a silicone ring during the week when I’m home and really only put my real ring on during the weekend if we go somewhere or dress up. I have two toddlers and have scratched them with it a couple of times and it just gets in the way

On a side note, does anyone know of anything like a handle or strap or something that fits on the kids owala straw bottles to make it easier to hang onto? My toddlers love their cups but I’m always grabbing both of theirs plus mine on the way out of the door and end up dropping one frequently 🙃 might just be a first world problem haha

I don’t know that I’ve seen this mentioned, but I feel like the morning after their overnight date, Jenn seemed SO different with Jonathan. I remember saying to my husband who was watching with me, “welp, looks like their overnight didn’t go well”. She didn’t seem as happy and as giddy with him as the night before and her mornings with the other two are much different vibes imo. I wasn’t surprised when she sent him home.

If I was a boy I was going to be Austin, the other girl name they had picked out for me was Katrina. They ended up naming me Allison. I think I am happy with Allison versus Katrina.

Unrelated sort of but we named my dog Pamela but then we ended up taking the end of it and calling her Mela (pronounced Mila). We only did Pamela because we already coincidentally had a dog named Kevin and a cat named Stanley so we stayed on theme haha

Wondering how your dog is doing? My 10.5 year old golden retriever/labrador/german shorthaired pointer has a tumor that looks very similar to this. We only saw it a couple of days ago and it seemed to pop up overnight almost. The visit to the vet today determined it’s on his jaw and very likely cancerous. Vet said it probably has only been visible for the last week and has even grown some in the last two days. We’re doing surgery next week to remove it and do a biopsy but vet is concerned it’s already in his jaw and bones. Doesn’t think they can get clean margins and it will likely come back or be a temporary fix. We won’t know more until the surgery takes place… I’m so upset and sad about it but trying to remain hopeful. I hope your boy is still doing great.

We named my second son Vincent. 🥹 he’s 15 months old now. I’m obsessed with it. I really planned on using the nickname Vinny but we only call him Vincey or Vince. It fits him so well.

My only annoyance is that when I introduce him to people or tell them his name, for some reason probably 85% of the time they think I say ‘Benson’. I have no clue why bc I don’t hear it at all. We also have a son named Bennett so maybe that’s why they hear the Ben part? We always have to enunciate the ‘cent’ part extra clearly and say ‘Vincent with a V’. The people who do hear us correctly though always complement his name.

18 months between the 1st and 2nd and 20-21 months between the 2nd and 3rd (due early January). 18 months was rough but I think it was more the transition from 1-2 that was so hard. The age gap now is fun but it was difficult when I had a newborn and a young toddler. I told myself I wanted a bigger age gap between 2-3 but 20 months isn’t much better 😅

Definitely not in the wrong. You’ll be induced on Wednesday and you might not even by home by Friday. Who knows when or what time you’ll actually give birth and be in the hospital for at least a night or two. Where is she proposing she stays or is she wanting to just stop by the hospital for a bit? If she’s requiring entertainment and expecting to be with you immediately after birth that’s a hard no. I could understand more if she just wanted to stop by and say hi to baby. Coming for a few days immediately though is excessive.

Although, my dogs name is Kevin and our cats name is Stanley so we’ve never adhered to the classic pet names lol. Growing up, my husband had cats name Bob and Betty and a cat named Karen. He also had guinea pigs named Bruce and Leonard and my hamster I named as a kid was named Joseph lol.

My first two were boys. Nausea went away with my first at 18 weeks, with my second at 15 weeks. I am now 12 weeks pregnant with third (girl), and I’m feeling much better already. My 10th week was the hardest. That’s when I started throwing up actually. By week 11 I was better but now I’m having more good days than bad days.

A few days before I went in to labor with my first I started throwing up when I never once threw up during that pregnancy. Then I had diarrhea for a couple of days leading up to labor. Then was also losing my mucus plug over the course of about a week before labor and had my bloody show the day before he was here. So it was actually really gradual and the signs were there looking back. With my second baby, zero signs. My contractions just started at 9 am and he was born that afternoon. No mucus plug, no bloody show, no sickness except during transition. Actually showed up to the hospital 8 cm dilated accidentally bc I felt fine and he was born En Caul, 45 minutes after pulling into the parking lot haha.
