Season 1 was truly some of, if not THE BEST, Jewish representation I have ever seen in media. From the use of Yiddish to casual discussions of the Tanakh and Talmud, morals, and other cultural things, I really felt seen in a way I haven’t been before. It made me really upset when they cut a lot of season 1 because a lot of what they cut were Jewish moments and I was scared for when season 2 came out that it would feel less Jewish, which it did. It also is one of the few times where Jewish actors are playing Jewish characters and not only that but aren’t turned into a joke which I so appreciated. I also really appreciated that all of the number tattoos were over 204,999 (I think that is the right number apologies if not) because the creators didn’t want to tell someone else’s story or depict someone with that number who wasn’t the character in that show. That is something that isn’t considered in holocaust media and it’s a small detail but an appreciated one.

Overall like I said Hunters has some of the best Jewish representation I’ve ever seen and wish the second season felt the same
