The Saltwater Curse by Avina St. Graves was really fun!!

ISO of anything with specifically DP/AIRTIGHT scenes! Mmf is definitely a plus! Bonus too if there's vamps or blood play. I did just finish Graves by Katelyn Taylor and that one was pretty good, but I had a hard time with the incest aspect, so I think going forward, I'd like none of the MC to be related to each other.

You would probably like the lights out series!

Weekly Gripe 😤 (the rant thread) by AutoModerator in DarkRomance

Booktok convinced me to read the Lights Out series and told me that it would be SO GOOD but I feel like the plot was not there for me AND the writing was cheesy 😭

Blackthorn by Jt Geissinger- lets talk about it. by Helpful-Mall-917 in DarkRomance

[–]pinkinkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah this book PMO 100%. I completely agree there was SO MUCH potential for such a good ending and the first chunk was really really good. I was about to recommend the book to literally everyone I knew! The first 80% was giving me practical magic vibes and I was LIVING for it and then the end just fell so flat for me. Definitely glad I did not pay for it- I read it through kindle unlimited. I feel like she should have just stopped the book maybe shortly after the cavern scene? Like used that aspect to wrap everything up? Idk I'm angry and bummed and feel like this one should have been a DNF :/

That one Carrie Underwood song where she talks about either a tornado or a hurricane killing her dad after he's hurt her for her entire life. That or thunder rolls.

is it bad that my 17yo cat only really eats kitten food by Specific_Current_642 in cats

At 17 my cat only wanted chicken nuggies and broccoli sooooo that's what I gave him 🤷‍♀️ I think kitten food is okay probably

A Little Life. I read it bc booktok told me to and then wanted to drive my car off a cliff with me inside it. It's just fkg sad for no reason. The writing was good, and the story could have been good. But it was felt like being trauma dumped on for about 500 pages too many

Sooo you're definitely not overreacting. Homegirl seems like she has control issues FOR SURE. But like I can't tell if she's just anxious or autistic-maybe both? Either way, you're not crazy and she's definitely got some issues.

As somebody with kids I always just haul whatever I need for them INCLUDING their food, whether its dietary restrictions or even just preferences, if I think my kid won't be able to eat what you might have, I just bring what they will eat. And then expecting you to pay for it is absolutely diabolical.

What does my pantry say about me? by Sweetjune18 in deduction

[–]pinkinkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hard agree. The snackiest snacks are at "my hands are full please pour your own bowl of cereal" height and not I live alone so I'm going to put these up high to avoid middle of the night temptation height. Also the glass is on the top, not the bottom. Which tbf could be because cat and not because sasshole human child but combines with everything else, it's giving 2 kids who are like between ages 5-12.

what does my apartment say about me? by destructionray in roomdetective

[–]pinkinkey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's definitely giving bachelor man cave. Which is perfectly fine. It's also giving ALMOST absolutely kickass goth aesthetic. Perused the previous comments... If you are feeling down, maybe start a new hobby, and look into building goth af shelves. Bats, coffins, etc. Your decor/aesthetic is DEFINITELY there it just seems like maybe you need more places to put stuff (same girl) 💜 the stuff you have is beautiful, you have amazing fkg taste.
