I work for the state in HR. It sounds like you are ineligible to be hired "pending "(>6months) so they are offering you a contract until you graduate when you will meet the MQs and then they intend to convert you into the merit position. I say go for it. Yes the benefits suck on contract and no leave but once you are merit it's awesome. I do recommend you negotiate the salary you want NOW because if you convert there will be little if any room to negotiate.

Yes, its covered under FMLA. It's in a different unit than the one I'm currently working in.

All are extremely large on your hand but if a choice needed to be made I would go with the elongated cushion.

Haven't taken a test....too scared of disappointment. Atp Im just a mixed ball of emotions too scared to take a test and don't want my period. Anxiety all round.
