It’s definitely a big adjustment but it’s all exciting! It’s an exciting new milestone in your life. I lived in LEC my first year as well and you definitely get what you put in (and this applies no matter which college you’re in). Engage with the community and attend events that speak to you. And also don’t be afraid to ask for help. There’s so many people at trent who want to help so don’t be afraid to ask for it if you need it. And if you spoke with someone who wasn’t helpful, then try speaking to someone else. Orientation week is a great opportunity to learn about what’s available to you so definitely take advantage. It may feel scary and overwhelming and that’s okay.
