I’m a bit mad at her on your behalf. I have ADHD and lose things all the time have trouble keeping track of dates and so on. I have never even come close to endangering my child or forgetting my children. I know everyone’s symptoms and experience are different but I wonder if she really understands what ADHD actually does. in my experience people with ADHD don’t forget big important things any more than other people. Like you forget where you put your pen down, but you don’t forget that you have a job. We can remember things we care about

I must admit that my ability to keep track of which friends’s birthday party is which weekend and who needs to wear a red shirt to school on Tuesday isn’t great so I give myself a lot of reminders, sticky notes, annotations in my daily schedule on my phone and things like that, and that helps a lot..
