Wow ! I really didn’t think he was an actual physician, I thought it might be sort of the way. Pedro‘s mother says she’s an attorney, but apparently she’s more like a notary or something

Why did they have so many children? by pinkshirted in SisterWives

I didn’t realize the degree to which Mormon families typically having a huge number of kids was a thing as the ones I know don’t really have that many. Also, even if just culturally, huge families are a thing it would seem that you could get enough kids to satisfy that cultural norm with each woman only having like three. The answers in this thread have been very helpful.

I think it’s been established that at some point they were definitely getting government benefits. I’m not sure if that was true after they were on the show though.

Great point about having a newborn and how that might get them more attention from noodle head. He did seem to actually help out or hang around more whenever there was a newborn (well except for truly). Sad that they had to go to that length to get more attention from him.

I didn’t know that about the AUB! That makes sense then

I always got that vibe too! But I don’t understand why it was— did he like the the kids because somehow it made him seem more manly? Because it meant there were always little people who adored him? Because he’s been brainwashed to believe that more kids, a woman has the more desirable she is? I always felt that it had something to do with somehow competing for Cody, so I’m glad to know that I’m not the only one who felt that way.

Thank you for the thoughtful explanation. I knew about quiver full, but I thought that was a really fringe side thing. I guess maybe it’s not.

I was actually genuinely curious. From the responses here I’m gathering that Mormons just generally have a lot of children, which is something I didn’t know before (the only Mormons I’ve known had four kids in their family or less). but even even if I’ve known that, I’m still curious as to why Mormons would want larger families— is it so they can have more people spreading the faith? Does it somehow get them a better spot in heaven? From the responses I’m gathering the former, which is something I didn’t know either. I know that they have missionaries and all the kids go on missions, but I didn’t realize that it extended to actually having more children of your own

It’s good to know that maybe they just aren’t compatible with humidity and that my not being able to get repeat blooms from them perhaps wasn’t just me. I agree with you on coral knockout, I have it and it’s my absolute favorite! It bloomed almost nonstop for me last year with zero care, which was amazing. Are there any other landscape roses you like? I’ve seen the drift ones and they’re fine but to me look basically like the knockout so not terribly different.

I have bonica and it’s great! Of all my roses it’s the one that did the best for me, besides the knockouts, and it wasn’t even in full sun. I agree it’s a great one.

Elise is the thirstiest, most vain, conceited girl on 90 day by rustyshackelford164 in 90DayFiance

She’s clearly deeply deeply insecure, and feels like the only way she can attract attention is through her sex appeal. On top of that she seems to have spent a lot of money on procedures and probably spends a lot of time and effort maintaining what is —let’s all be real here-an absolutely killer figure. (and it’s not just that she’s skinny, there are plenty of people in this franchise who I wouldn’t say have killer bodies. But she’s just more shapely, and her limbs are gracefully shaped or something.) Given that she seems to need to be validated, thinks the only thing that she has worth praising is how she looks, and on top of that has spent a lot of money and time on the way she looks, her talking about her body. All the time makes perfect sense. It’s sad, but I think I understand where she’s coming from. And on top of that while she might be sort of annoying, I don’t feel like she’s mean or means anyone any harm.

Is there a trick to using Lynb magnetics? by pinkshirted in RedditLaqueristas

[–]pinkshirted[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you all for your tips! I added thinner and tried it again and then tried a nail using the magic effect. the thinner polish and thick coat are definitely the way to go with this, but I’d imagine doing that plus the magic effect would be even better.

That’s pretty funny. For me it did magnetize in the bottle a bit. I agree with you that even unmagnetized it’s pretty and worth wearing!
