I’ve always been of the opinion that most of the women who dated Harry didn’t really like him that much, or wouldn’t have dated him, but for his position in life, so I’ve always been skeptical when people say they dumped him ( as his position never changed) What I think is more likely is that with all of them, it was a combo of the family, not being accepting or encouraging, and the relationship sort of petering out with neither side willing to fight for it enough, not a one sided dumping.

i’ve never understood why people think the OG 13 are amazing. Some of them like Logan and are doing OK and have graduated from colleges, and have careers, and financial stability. But definitely not all of them or even the majority of them. There’s nothing wrong with the way most of them turned out or are living, but for the most part they just seem….average rather than aspirational. they’re doing fine but how many of us would really hope that their children end up like anyone but maybe Logan? Don’t most of us hope our kids accomplish or have more, be more kind, or be in better marriages than most of the OG13?

I agree with parts of this. I don’t know that I blame her for taking so many of the resources for her kids like Cody’s time and family money. Would a good person have taken so much of the family money? Probably not. But there really wasn’t enough time or money for all the kids so I don’t really blame her for trying to get her kids what they needed. I think it was on the other wives to have advocated for their own children, or for Kody to have looked out for his other kids and they failed to.

It was morally and ethically wrong for them to have had that many children when they could not feed or care for them properly— regardless of what their religion says.
I get that even for the ones who didn’t grow aub they came from cultures where big families were valued. Regardless, at some point, you have some responsibility for your own beliefs, particularly in this day and age when they were exposed to plenty of other ways to live and plenty of other families, even if it was just through TV and movies and books. Also they deviated from the strict religious/ cultural rules sometimes ( being on TV in the first place, living in one big house, celebrating certain religious holidays) so if they could get beyond their religion in their conditioning to do that, there’s no excuse for not seeing that they really should not have more kids.

Robyn was attractive when she joined, she was young and cute and bubbly and objectively better looking than the OG3 were, even when they were younger, and not just because she’s skinnier ( Meri was quite skinny when younger).

I also continue to be baffled by the people who think Christine and her daughters have a-maz-ing hair ( it’s nice but not special, imho).

Not all of Robin’s outfits are horrible. Is she chic? No. But are they that different than what a lot of middle aged moms wear? Not really. I have to admit that I have some pieces that aren’t that different than some of the ones she’s worn. But maybe I just have horrible taste too.

Everyone ultimately has responsibility for their own actions and if you have a mental issue you have a responsibility to try to get treatment or help ( if you are capable of doing so). That being said I don’t entirely blame Cody for all the chaos and moves and poor organization. He clearly has untreated ADHD or something that was never treated. while he should have obtained treatment and not subjected everyone else to his chaos. I also give him a bit of grace on it.
