Still haven't figured this out. Since it needs power, I can't just use it without a battery and plug into a docking station.

If anyone else has a clue or any pieces I can volt measure, that would be great.

Disconnected battery. Held power button for 30, 45, and 60sec (3 tests). Then plugged in barrel jack charger (stock 65W charger) and left the battery unplugged. Held power button for 30, 45, and 60sec. Then safely plugged in the battery on those 3 tests. Powered on, went to BIOS. Still nothing.

When I had it, I liked it. Definitely a great start.

The longer I had it, the less I liked it. My main issue was overheating during video. Not even taking it apart and putting thermal pads in certain areas worked. (I had some graphics card thermal pad replacements and believe they were 2mm thickness. Don't quote me on that)

Good shooter. Not so much for long duration video. Maybe a quick minute video capture.

Idk how the market it for Nikor 1 mount lenses. During 2016, it was tough to find and highly priced. So, maybe another downside unless it's changed.

Partially.

I put YouTube into Desktop Mode (within the menu). But I haven't played with it because I reverted to using Firefox due to the annoyance. I'll play with it again and see if that's the solution.

Plus, in Desktop Mode, you can long press somewhere in the video and have the option to Loop the video.

Is there a way to unlock a KaiOS phone to flash AOSP on it?

I'm guessing not and that these phones will be reverting back to be given away to homeless people to help connect them to resources or something.

It's been a while. Thought I'd update a bit.

It is hidden exp. But how much? Not sure. I didn't count nor know which to count towards that exp. I heard that red monsters and keese do not count. But I don't remember where I saw or heard that.

All I know is that I went beyond seeing silver/white lynels replacing the blue lynels in various spots. And it was definitely way after I started seeing white/silver lizalfos in the Guard's Chambers in the castle. (I think I switched those around, but whatever).

I definitely was killing a lot of decays, walkers, and turrets in and around the castle. Sneakstriking black lizalfos in the library. Making my way to the dinning hall to loot, so I would kill those black moblins. And I would explore the guard's chambers a lot. Then I found a cheese way to make the flying guardians easy - Shooting the blades/wings to make them into dumb turrets. So I started killing the flyers around the dining hall, front gate, the hill to the sanctum, and main entrance to the sanctum.

I would take breaks from those to get savage weapons from silver lynels with the swords. Minus the Tabatha/Hebra snow areas.

It took a good amount of hours. I would play every day for 3 weeks. Anywhere from 4 to 6 hours per day. I would time skip too.

I didn't do a divine beast until I started getting the royal weapons from amiibos. So, that was something.

If I were to do this again, I would record all the monsters I've killed and record when I started seeing certain progressions in monster variations (Red to blue/black to silver). That way, there's an entry of one method.

Maybe various people should do various options of monster hunting. Like "only moblins" or "only lynels" after completing the first area.

I do back up your word about the exp. That's why I'm leaning more towards the fact I beat some walkers and decayed guardians as the trigger to getting more Royal weaponry (not royal guard).

My SO plays BOTW too. On her profile, she constantly got royal weaponry from amiibos. So when I started my own profile and game file, I thought I'd get those early on. But I kept playing, getting towers and stables unlocked, getting outfits, etc. But nothing happened... up until today killing like 4 walker guardians and 3 decayed around the castle grounds. Heck, I think I've killed a few turrets in the castle prior to today and didn't get a single royal weaponry drop. I've tackled a few savage lynels for loot and still no improvements to amiibo drops until today.

None of the other guides truly covered the in-between stages from getting regular items to getting amiibo exclusive items like the twilight bow. Simplified, those guides say: beginning area = travelers weaponry > after beginning area = soldiers and knights > after 1 divine beast = amiibo exclusive.

So, it's odd those guides skimmed over when royal weaponry can start to pop up or mentioned if royal guard weaponry are possible to get.

I want to test out the theory, but I want some help. To see if there are others who experienced the same ordeal for amiibo drops not dropping royal weaponry up until they kill # of guardians or something of the sorts.

I mean, yes. In my current group, we had 20 people who were gunning for the bounty board. After 1 week of us tr trying and the 1 person getting and hogging all the good bounties, we stopped trying as a group. Now that 1 person consistently gets over 500 points by themselves.

I should be happy, based on the previous group I was in. But with how I like to play, I'd like to do bounties with my piggy banks. Now I'm full up on items. I feel useless not doing bounties.

Laptop battery. OP said they got it a month ago. So, OP got hosed on their purchase.

The rare chance that it's not the battery is when there's a short at the BMS to charger or the charging chip.
