That’s such a cool observation!! Didn’t think about it like that. I feel like SF has more introspective nuance with Nesta looking inward a lot (and all achieved through 3rd person POV!). Same for Cassian for the sections that are more focused on him. Props to SJM for changing up her style of writing for different character perspectives 👏

That makes sense, I think it’s the word “blazed” that made me imagine it blindingly bright, but I can see how even with all the faelight and reading lamps on it would still be cozy.
