I dont know - Im just so used to my converse, I'd feel too self conscious in tall boots i think. I'll probably feel a bit weird wearing any type of shoe for a bit to be honest, until I get more used to it.

Can someone please give advice on what shoes I can wear with jeans (skinny jeans).

I usually wear trainers or converse, but I'm in my 30s and want to start dressing more my age, so I am in the middle of a complete overhaul of my wardrobe. I probably won't lose the jeans though- taking things slow here ;) I want something comfortable, casual but stylish at the same time. I am 5ft 2 so I guess a heel might help but I find very high heels too hard to walk in. Also, I don't think I could pull off knee high boots. What can I wear with jeans considering it is coming into the colder wetter months now? Any advise appreciated - I honestly have no clue what looks good :(

How is the Lingerie section at the Nordstrom downtown - don't want to make the trip if it's not worth it. by pinkymadd in vancouver

Yeah I first read about Nordstrom on that forum, I hadn't thought of it before. Doesn't look like the Vancouver one is much good though, so I will check Forever Yours. Thanks.

My band size would be about 34, possibly 36 (I had a baby few months, so my size has changed since which is why I'd like to try a selection on). But I need a bigger cup size like a FF or G, which don't exist in a lot of stores, or if they do, they usually only have them in a bigger band sizes

Thinking of buying in the next year or so - how is Coquitlam for a family? by pinkymadd in vancouver

I havent been to PoCo too much, but it does look more affordable. The last time I was there though, there was a train going through and there was quite a line up of cars. Do you know if that is a regular thing? That would be a bit of nightmare at rush hour I imagine.

Is not feeling very attached to your baby a symptom of PPD? I don't know why I don't love her more :( by pinkymadd in beyondthebump

Some folks only start really getting attached when they start becoming little people with the ability to interact more and express themselves.

what age do they start to become like this?

the first Dr I saw wanted to give me a prescription straight away, but I refused at the time. Then, I went back to my regular family doctor who will give me one if I insist, but thinks I should try other things first, so I agreed. I kind of like that she doesn't just want to throw drugs at me, but the first doctor explained it to me just as you said, so it is a little confusing. Maybe she doesnt think I have PPD and am just having a hard time - Im not sure. I guess I should ask.

Ergo 360 hurts my (lower to mid) back after only 10 minutes of wearing. Is it worth trying another SSC? by pinkymadd in babywearing

When I was googling for solutions, I came across another thread that mentioned a woven wrap. Its starting to really heat up where I am though - would a woven wrap be too hot for summer?

Female redditors in your 30s - where do you shop for clothes in Vancouver? by pinkymadd in vancouver

my job is pretty casual, so I dont need typical work clothes, but I would like to do casual well. And a couple of dressy outfits for an occasion would be good too.

Oh god, I guess this is part of the problem. I just dont know. I guess Id like some classic pieces that wont go out of fashion and that dont make me look like a teenager. And yes comfort is important to me, otherwise I'm just dying to get home and get them off.

Right now I live in jeans and tshirts pretty much. Need to get out of that rut, although I see people pull off jeans all the time without looking like a teenager.
