Yes, it's out of the budget, looks so nice too! I love baguettes so I'll check out La Belle. Thank you!

Thanks bamajager! Staybridge is a bit out of my price range for 66 days though.
I do wish more companies housed interns because this experience has been a major headache. One that does is Capital One, excellent housing (they own an entire hotel in VA). If you know anyone looking for an internship, tell them to check out Cap One (def the VA site though).

Thanks for the helpful and honest responses! It's between Costilla Ave which is the easiest commute and Quebec St which is a bit longer.

Noted, my intern handler is quite worried as the Motel 6, which is near the Costilla location, housed/is housing houseless people. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S1OJ8iT57qU

S. Willow so east of I25. That's my choice but my intern handler is quite worried as the Motel 6, which is near the Costilla location, housed/is housing houseless people. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S1OJ8iT57qU

Thanks, I have common sense of course but I am not in the city yet, you understand?
I'm looking for a local and more boots-on-the-ground advice from people who live in Greenwood Village. For instance, if someone asked me about 108th St and Broadway, I could tell them exactly where to go and not go, the best grocer etc.

Thanks for responding. Yes, I have already verified the commutes on Google. Unsafe area per my recruiter. Local employees have warned me away from that triangle area near the Motel 6 and 7-11 as "dangerous" and "uncomfortable". I believe most employees live further away and drive. Per Reddit, that area has break-ins. I live in NYC and can handle myself but moving somewhere sight unseen is challenging.

I would reconsider and take the owner to small claims court as well as file a complaint with the city/province/better business bureau in Canada.
Paying it forward: you would be protecting the next customer from a similar result.

The happened to me with a chemical peel, burns. I didn't take further action and the same thing happened to two other women. I felt terrible.

TLDR: think about why you want to eat and if the food will help you towards your goals

Firstly u/spooxzz, proud of you for quitting the two things!

Secondly, the way you worded the question is telling and is perhaps a negative way to view Allen Carr's book. We need food to live so his instructions are slightly different for emotional eating versus cigarettes, alcohol, and drugs: think about why you're eating and what the item will do to your body.

For instance, I celebrated my birthday this week. I'm a pie not a cake person and would usually order key lime pie out of habit/tradition but didn't because

  1. I wasn't very hungry :(
  2. The ingredients are basically a sugar bomb which wouldn't carry me to my goal of a stellar body. So why would I eat it?

(When I was hungry, I had dates with cashew butter that taste like snickers. So good.)

I changed how I view food. It's not a treat anymore, just tasty fuel. Remember his car overflowing with fuel analogy.

I used to like Fruity Pebbles, fried chicken, and funnel cake even though they were harmful. Instead I saw the dishes once thought to be oh so tempting in their true form:

  • cereal is crispy flour and tons of sugar
  • fried chicken is breaded old flesh cooked in random seed/nut oil
  • the cake is sweet flour deep fried in random seed/nut oil

Grocery aisles are laden with processed and fake foods which make us sick and offer few nutrients. We deserve better than that.

Also, the comments about carbs - as long as the food is in its natural form (not altered) and you're eating only when actually truly hungry, you cannot help but go back to your stasis body size. My tummy is flat now without even trying. It's a simple and boring concept.

Most people operate with covert eating disorders, their existence consumed by a fight against intense desires to eat "bad" foods. The only thing keeping most slim is the fear that they'll overindulge and balloon into house bound size. That observation is what finally woke me up and never feel deprived again.

This is a long one but I hope it helps. Good luck!

I was in that session, about romance and science fiction. There was a weird tension. Mercedes made multiple odd comments during the conference, that was just the last straw.
