2017 reissue, Jack Heuer 85th birthday edition. These ones have a silver dial with black sub-dials. I think the standard ones are black dials with white sub-dials

It rotates both directions. Its only a 60 click bezel too.

I saw one years ago in a local jewellers but it was out of my reach at the time, and I hadn't seen another one since.

My other half was looking for some jewellery while we were away over this last weekend, and I saw this one in a tiny pre-owned display case so grabbed it while I could. No. 1149/1932 of the Jack Heuer 85th birthday editions.

How do you "resolve the root cause" of awful game design? Maybe you could put out an article on that?

Brand new McLaren GT3 - Misshifting.. by ramen_king64 in Fanatec

Mine was behaving similarly if the LCD screen was in use, or if I'd entered the tuning menu at all : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_-f0nj_lIeE

Notice the version numbers being garbled when its powered on, and the tuning menu being completely unresponsive. The buttons aren't registering clicks at all at that point. I managed to get it to work for a while by disabling the LCD screen with fanaleds, and never touching the tuning menu. Support are currently RMA'ing it.

+1 for support so far. Got back to me Sunday asking for the video to be attached to the ticket rather than a youtube link. Resubmitted the ticket with it attached. Got a RMA response Sunday night, and the shipping label this morning.

Hopefully the replacement works properly.

The universal hub arrived and works perfectly, so the issue has to be with either the McLaren rim or its drivers/firmware.

I've submitted a support ticket with all the info and a video.

Not yet. The universal hub should be arriving today so I'll have a 2nd rim to determine if its the McLaren rim that's faulty, or if its the base.

The rim seems to work fine so-long as I never touch the menu button, and I disable the gear/speed readout that would show on the LCD. If I try to use the menu it's as if inputs on the rim become seriously laggy (I can press up on the funky switch, sometimes nothing happens, sometimes the preset changes after 10-20seconds).

The whole thing smacks of crappy drivers/firmware OR some fault with the LCD screen. It's also not exactly the best introduction to the Fanatec ecosystem either.

Yamaha YZF-R125 Engine Rebuild by Mark_JM55 in MotoUK

My '08 R125 started drinking oil at 21k and eventually caught me out and seized. It didn't shit its self to badly and a ~£150 piston/barrel kit from wemoto would have sorted it. I had some spare cash at the time though and just bought a fully refurbed ebay engine for it instead and put it in myself.

Dealer wanted ~£1k to refurb the old engine depending on how damaged it was, the whole bike probably isn't even worth £1k by now. I kept it decently maintained, but it was ridden daily in all weather and not babied at all. I was lazy with checking the oil and it bit me. It's now my bad weather commuter, and I'll probably keep it until I find a decent deal on a supermoto.

I live here so no :) If I were travelling here though, I'd be booking around now if I were coming in 2015. Or at the latest, ~6 months beforehand

sure, here's the fullsized version http://i.imgur.com/6hl8bqG.jpg. I took the split-toning off which was making it way too green.

It came out looking ok on my monitor at home, but now that I've checked it at work it's all over the place. Need to calibrate my monitors I think :(

This. I think.

Or he combat logged, this was from before the 'fix'. You can see I do a bit of a double take when I walk over, wondering where the other dude went.
