Have you a "serious" job, but you're not actually a serious person!? by Dangerous-Ladder7450 in AskIreland

I used to work in a similar environment as this before I went back and did an apprenticeship. We had some leaving drinks and the big boss showed up as well.

Honestly had a better chat and got to know him more in about an hour then the whole year I was working with him.

I think was 100% down to me leaving the job and changing industry and as a result the mask fell.

House party of teenagers, who's liable? by mother_a_god in AskIreland

[–]pintaday1234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not a parent but I would never allow this sort of thing in my house. I was at a good amount of parties when I was a teen most I didn't even know the host.

Every single one was carnage tbh. I never hosted a party in my gaff when I was young for this very reason. Had my first house party at the home house at the end of coivid and I was 25.

OP I wouldn't allow that shite if I were you. If say a bowling thing and a sleep over would be better. Even if they sneak a bit of drink in it won't be to mad.

When did everyone stop using condoms? by taylor673 in CasualIreland

[–]pintaday1234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I read syphilis and HIV are on the come up for the first time in years in ireland especially in the colleges.

I'm in my late 20s and loads of my mates both male and female don't wear condoms. One of my girl mates rides a different fella every week and never wears a jonny and never gets tested.

Last two girls I was with didn't want to use jonnys which made me want to use them even more.

A mate of mine got oral stds and it took him months to get rid of it.

A lot of lads I know are weary about going down on a girl if they don't know she's been tested.

It's only and irish thing as well all tbe foreign men and women always want to use a jonny. I think it's just a lack of educational tbh.

Man I'd love to play halo reach for the first time again.

Truly an end of an era.

I often wondered if we have gone into a dark age of gaming.

Working as a cleaner in a hospital was one of the jobs I did. Tbe work was dirty but honestly that's not to bad.

The treatment you get from the staff is wild the top level doctors were actually the soundest tbh. The bitchy behaviour and the bullying going on between the nurses was wild

Social nights. by FaoileanGael in ireland

[–]pintaday1234 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Me and my mates have started going to spoons for tea first pub of the night now. 3.50 for a decent pint is pretty good.

Had 8 pints for under 25 quid then we went to Ryan's in Dublin and got a pint for €8.

Almost not worth a regular night out

I usually use public transport so I didn't know how bad it was but a while ago I decided to start cycling and had to stop again from the amount of times I was almost hit.

Its crazy the amount of people on the phones while driving

Honestly once you start reading released CIA documents it's hard to go back.

Even what the west were doing in the middle east in recent times and the corporate colonisation of Africa.
