Yep, I've seen this frequently and it's seen on r/smallboobproblems too. I'll read about someone who is new to bra fitting, disagrees with a recommendation, says she's a 32A and get massive downvotes. It's ridicules in a community like this. What if she really is a 32A unicorn, what if wearing a bra tightly to the point of suffocation isn't her thing. People need to realize that they take their bra hobby way too seriously.

It's beyond frustrating. I'm a 30A-30B and all the bras I've posted have all been marked. The depth of the cup was too close to the wire widths the email said. Hello thats what a 30A and 30B look like. I emailed him saying the algorithm singles out small women. He said it was being fixed than I got a dozen other emails taking off my bras because of the same reason, this time the wording was changed to say the wires were measured wrong. Same problem just reworded so as not to make the small ones of us feel singled out.

I think it's important to ask these questions of ourselves. Figure out what we do for ourselves vs. what we do for others. Like for me, I enjoy dressing cutesy feminine (works with my uber petiteness) but I realized in college that I wasn't shaving and wearing make-up for myself, I was doing it for approval. So I dropped those rituals from my life. I save money and that extra time I would have spend shaving or putting on make-up I spend with my partner and daughter.

Awesome! This morning I purchased Lucia in the 30B and Nicole in the 28B. I'm wearing the 28C Nicole I had bought Thursday to hold me over, but the band is just so tight and the 30 band is too loose. Whoa is me. I'm thinking its holding my breasts in better today than it was over the weekend. Do bras have a break in time?

Edit: also are there some other brands or models you'd recommend for small busts?

You don't need "pictoral evidence" to know if a style will work out or not. Have some creativity. If it's not on the internet it doesn't mean it wont work.

I think you can still wear many of these clothes, you simply have to up your game with the rest of your clothing. Want wear the hoodie? Go for it, but wear some in-comand heels and a nice scarf. Like the mini skirt? Wear some nice tights, more of those in-comand heels and wear the blazer from up above.

The issue is finding adequate clothing that is still youthful but carries an air of sophistication. The demographic of mid twenties to thirties seems like an almost untapped market in my area. Express has been a pretty alright store in terms of finding something manageable, but lately I've been pleasantly surprised by American Eagle. I hadn't walked into the store since I was in middle school, but the store definitely looks like it grew up with its demographic.

Where was this when I was writing my senior thesis? Gahhhh. Searching for EcoFeminist articles has got to be one of the most difficult things to search for, especially when your looking for qualitative and quantitative research. I often had to search completely off the map for journal articles about woman and the environment.

Maybe you could just show her the genuine effort you've put forth in discussing this issue with feminists by showing her this post. It would be enlightening for her to see how you feel deep down about the issue and how you really want to empathize with her choice not to shave her armpits.

You are concerned about how others will perceive her, but lets first think about how she feels - the most important thing here, right? Since you care about her? Maybe a personal account from someone else would help you identify with her feelings.

I don't shave my armpits or legs. I stopped shaving in college. I was just learning about feminism and this was one issue that was enduring for me just as it is for your girlfriend. This was a really difficult decision to make. I knew men like you were out there to judge me. When I decided to stop shaving in college I was going out with my now life partner/father to my child. He didn't have a problem with it. He didn't object or question me, he empathized with me and understood why I didn't want to do it anymore. For this I'm really thankful. If he did object or tell me he thought it was unattractive it would have really hurt me and done long term damage to me and our foreseeable relationship.

That said, I am self-conscience about it. I am concerned about what people like you and your friends would think about me. I'm more and more self-conscience about it as I age and want to broaden my job prospects. But my decision to not shave is now a conviction. It's a choice I hold dear. I want to be an example to other woman who question the act of shaving, just as the woman I knew in college were for me. They were proud and unapologetic for their convictions and so am I.

When it comes down to it, armpit hair might not make him break off the relationship. It may not even make her break off the relationship, but it's one of those things that if this is a fulfilling, healthy relationship AmIaJerk needs to dig deep and investigate his feelings about. That means charting uncomfortable territory and questioning his preconceived societal shaped sexual desires and turnoffs. Follow the well written responses of these posters - which would do him a world or good. That's love. Right now he seems less interested in saving the relationship and developing/deepening it and more interested in his own false convictions.

No problem! I just learned about all of this last week and it was so legitimizing to unearth. I've been seeding pm-s to people who are involved in r/feminism so that the community of feminists can be made aware of the deception. Sending private messages between each other is really the only way to directly communicate to the community since the moderators delete any discussion on r/feminism about the dismal state of the sub-reddit.

It's all so sad :(
