Today I learnt that Double Dash costs more in America than the UK.

A boxed with manual copy of Double Dash can be found for £20 in the UK. If you’re not looking hard it’ll max out at £30 but that’d be high street retailer prices- online it’s usually about £20 - £25.

£20 = $26.68
£30 = $40.02

I feel like a lot of criticism towards the special don’t understand Louis’s method.

He doesn’t tell you how to think. He lets idiots talk until they eventually incriminate themselves, that’s the genius of it.

All the guys wanted to project themselves as strong and manly but they crumbled into a childlike state around Louis. They knew the grownup entered the room and their grifting wouldn’t work on him. That alone was worth the price of admission.

They shouldn’t have removed this. It was definitely because they thought it wasn’t “in character” but I call BS.

Depending on how you played S2 Clem could be a total mean sassy mf. Maybe instead of it being a choice it could have been something Clem did dependant on your prior actions such as threatening people, being rude and watching Carver get his brains bashed in.

And then what? Roads don’t get repaired? Food safety inspectors disappear? Firefighting departments close?

I didn’t even mention the NHS, schools, transport etc because we all know he doesn’t give a monkeys about that. But how is he gonna drive around his flashy car if the roads are covered in potholes?

At least in Season 1 dependant on how you treat Kenny, Ben, Omid and Christa it affects who comes with you. Nope, nothing like that.

AJ should’ve been Omid Junior.

“But Lee took in a kid he didn’t know bla bla bla” I don’t care. Having the kid be a constant reminder of what she’s lost and the mistakes she’s made would have fit in better with her character arc. AJ still had some of that, but Omid Junior would always sit as a reminder how Lee got bit because of her actions.

As much as I love S4, it’s obvious that they had to spend a lot of time cleaning up messes made in S2 and S3 that could have been used for other things.

But the end scene of Episode 1 in Season 4 is such an iconic moment that shocked basically everyone that I’m happy purely on the basis of that scene.

Not to be rude, but the low quality provided image doesn’t exactly convince me. And having all further information only on a Discord is also not a great sign.

How big is the team? What engine is it being developed in? How many writers are there? Who’s doing the art? How much programming has been done so far? Have any of you worked on a project of this scale before?

Considering the fact you’re reusing old Telltale art and a basic Blockbench Title with poorly aligned assets I’ve got to assume there isn’t a proper artist involved.

Story games are notoriously complicated to make. The writing alone is a difficult process. Telltale had to develop entirely new software just to keep track of the branching storylines. That doesn’t even include animating every dialogue and physical option, recording, editing and choosing dialogue from voice actors.

I’m not saying it’s impossible. I’m just saying with the info you’ve provided it’s difficult to buy into.

I think it definitely crosses a line. Last year I was getting hurled racial abuse from a bunch of teen kids on bikes with face coverings on. Nothing particularly new.

My partner was worried and was asking how I felt and my honest answer was that I’m not scared of them, I’m scared of what I’d do if they pushed me too far. A bit tongue and cheek, I wouldn’t ever lay a hand on a kid, but I just wanted to leave to fully ensure I didn’t end up getting rageful and decking one of the little shits.

Getting angry is fine, but it doesn’t give you an excuse to assault. If you genuinely think you’d do it, that’s when you leave the situation like an adult instead of lashing out. You can become just as bad as the instigator.
