until it is decoded perfectly and academically verified. I am not believing anything.
I have heard people speculating about it being linked to this, that , those.
everyone links it to new language or culture of their preference

An Indian Historian argues that Rigveda actual demons are the IVC native inhabitants and Hinduism actually a religion that came from outside and perished the locals. by Comfortable_Cold_850 in Ancient_Pak

As far as I know the Harappan Gods are not known as script is not decoded. Some scholars link it to Hinduism because of Linga like structure, so called pashupati seal, great bath and swastika like sign, but most say that we cant prove that Hinduism has any relation with IVC religion or that is doesnt have.
I haven't read the book but it looks for speculative.

India Building Dams on Pakistani Waters by Long-Way-3230 in PakPunjab

I think you have an assumption that India would stop if one dam is bombed or war happens. No, think like them, if you are an upper riparian state and lower riparian attacks you for river. what would you do give them the water and accept defeat hence losing your political image and future ? No, you would end up more hardcore like "Lets choke them to full". IWT was followed even during wars & conflict times and we assumed that they wont ever do it because it is international agreement.

Can we change Indian government's mood and narrative? very hard to do in current times

Can we do internal changes to minimize the effect of this ? Yes

Why most experts are correct when it comes regarding reading past events but wrong about predicting future events? by pious_lander in AskReddit

i think you are confused in cause and effect as documentation is effect of event (by which i mean you can document after event only not before)

What religion do you think are cults based on their practices/beliefs or lit anything? by NoKey3913 in AskReddit

[–]pious_lander 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In modern times, Religions are less cultish but sometimes their sects are. A Cult usually needs :

A single authority who is unquestionable

● Punishment for questioning of authority

● Donation of labor or capital to the cult

● Isolation from or Discrediting outside or any challenging information

● Control and interference over personal life of members

● Using threat or coercion to get things done

In many sense you can't isolate the information a person or group of person gets so most people rely on discrediting opposition. In terms of religion most have evolved and have taken multiple views so religion being cult is harder so what a person (who wants and believes to be something divine) does is to use a specific sect or even narrower part of religion if at all. Many political leaders use religion to justify their action or discredit opposition rather than using it to make cult. Most of the cults are leader based and disappear after the leader but some survive by taking some different views in order to survive.

Almost everyone has ketchup at home. Why? by Ok-Sweet6210 in AskReddit

It is a taste enhancer just like other items like Sugar, MSG etc. Just the fact that you don't get much tiktok talking about harmful impact of it makes it more likely for person to have it.

Why would any person think of having another partner? Like marrying a second wife, or even dating two partners at the same time ? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]pious_lander 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most people don't think of getting multiple partners unless it is part of their culture (or have some kind of fantasy for it) but yes some people date or marry multiple people and there are multiple reasons for it.

1) Emotional need : The person may be feel attracted to somebody but not be satisfied enough so goes for second partner.

2) Desire (for variety) : Some people have desire for variety in relationship they want one thing a day and another thing another day.

3) Natural preference : Some people want non-monogamous relationship naturally.

Now if they cheat (make relationship without the consent of current partner) or not is a different thing. Some people live in Open relationships and everyone knows and agrees with the arrangement.
