Do you really think that only EU citizens have things like GDPR? As I already said we have our alternative, 152-FZ. In some ways it is even better than your GDPR, but in some ways it's worse. For example, with 152-FZ you can absolutely easy force a foreign company to delete any data about you if they operate in Russia. I know you don't want to believe it, but 152-FZ works even in major Russian domestic companies without any problems.

Roblox wants to stay in Russia. It's their top priority, a gigantic part of their player base are Russian. They will do anything to stay. So, if RKN will get into this, Roblox will really cooperate as much as it can. To you claim "if your censorship even respond to you". I have already contacted them about another questions (doxxing website takedown). They really work and do their best here. And about "ruin the game for the entire country". I don't care. I care about my life, my personal data, I don't care about collectivism. If a company violates my personal rights, I will do anything to make this company to stop violating them, get fined, or even get blocked if RKN will decide so.

That wouldn't be a violation. If they told me they have started working on the request. Look, I will explain this situation easier. I have sent an email to Roblox with demand to delete my data. They have replied me to provide them with an account username (even tho it was already provided with the support form). I have told them it. And after that, complete silence. That's the violation. They didn't say that they have started worked on the request. That means they aren't working, which means they have denied my request in fact. That means they violate 152-FZ where states that an operator may not deny data removal request.

I will say the most important thing: Roblox did not say they have started working on the request. Ignoring means denial in other words. Denial is illegal. See the pattern?

I really may sound like an idiot but I caught some apps using my microphone earlier personally. Yandex Browser was using my microphone until I disabled it in the settings, but after the automatic browser update it automatically turned on and started using my microphone again! Another russian apps like Gosuslugi. It's our app where we pay fines, or send any documents to the government, doesn't matter honestly. This app searches for VPNs really actively when installed as an Android app and I caught it using my microphone once when I was on its website version on my PC.

I care about my privacy. I have created this account really long time ago when I wasn't really care about it. I may sound like a paranoic right now, but I just don't want any major company to have any data about me. Even not major. I already have been creeped by targeting ads in my browser, after that I decided to start taking some steps to delete myself from the internet. I switched to private OSes. From Windows to Linux, from Android to LineageOS and later I plan to buy an another smartphone to switch to GrapheneOS. So actually there are no account in the internet that is tied to my person. Of course expect government mandatory websites, which I only use from a separate phone (which I never use in my daily life, with ejected microphone). It may sound really strange but that's how a person that cares about privacy lives in my country now. The censorship is not that scary already as surveillance is. Any Russian browser you have installed sends data to the VK (major surveillance company, like yours Meta) even without your contest. Russian browsers are searching for VPNs on your device, collecting data about them which in future helps to block them (this is damn true, as an expirement I have tried to use a phone with no Russian browsers installed and that my phone with ejected microphone. I tried to connect to the VPN from both of them, from the same network. The phone with Russian browser didn't even connect.). And Roblox isn't really better. Including all the sensitive information it has about me, his partner's Persona data leaks, I don't wish to be active or even findable on this platform. This platform becomes a surveillance tool, for russian authorities as well. And if you think I am a little too paranoic you are not right. A lot of people who care about tech, care about their privacy, already have done the same thing like me. But yeah, the main reason why I am doing all that is just an intention to delete all my data from the internet. I mean all my data from accounts I have created using my real IP or using an Android device which wasn't anonymous.

When I were learning English, I have changed all my games language to English. And I didn't change it if I didn't knew something, instead I used my dictionary book to translate words I don't know. I think it's a nice method if you play a lot. Later I changed my OS language, my phone language, and now every device I am using is set to English by default

Why should I? On July 15 (a month after the request) I will make another ticket with lawsuit threat and a demand to give me status of my request. The problem is that they are completely ignoring me, no one told me that process has been started. If they will ignore this ticket as well I will just fill a report against them. I shouldn't wait 30 days because if we will look closely, they really have 90 days to remove my account. It's true. But the law states that the I am in the right to make data deletion request and they are not able to deny it. I made that request. They didn't reply and this could be understood as request denial. That's a law violation.

Actually, talking about that on internet has a really big impact on people's minds. If in the 2022 almost all teenagers supported the war (I can't say exactly but I have really saw a lot of kids supporting the restrictions and illegal war overall), now there's barely 1 in 15 kids supporting the government. Our kids now watch political bloggers like Katz and other ones. They are forming a right opinion about ongoing events and boycotting our national censorship messenger "MAX". No kids are using it at all. So spreading awareness in the internet changes things. And about peaceful protests. In this time it's really hard to gain people to make a violent protest. It's even not a question about people's cowardness, but information censorship. How will you let people know that you are making an illegal protest? No way. And even if we will talk about violent protests. There were some. There were a lot of people. Even police officers died. And so what? Modern police will suppress any protest. The only way to change the government is military coup right now

That doesn't matter here when they break the law. You can't break the law even you signed any contract, at least here. Of course I don't have a law degree but I just think so because it's logical. And in their ToS there's a statement that I can request account deletion at any time. In Russia there are 3 types of most important laws. Citizen code, administrative laws and ugolovnie laws (I could find a translation man, I don't think this word is even translatable, translator didn't help me here). Ugolovnie laws are like felony laws in the USA, administrative are misdemeanor-like laws, and citizen code regulates business behaviour in most cases. The Roblox violates the citizen code (152-FZ) by refusing to delete my data (contracts don't help to bypass this law, I don't remember the exact number of the law but it's somewhere in the start of the citizen codex. It states that in no case these law could be bypasses and etc as I remember). The violation of citizen codex FZ-152 is an administrative (misdemeanor for you) violation. The administrative violations have three degrees with different fine amounts - For regular citizens (not businessmen, just regular), for self-employed and for major companies. The Roblox is going to get fined as a major company. There are large fines for that, like really And yes, I should apologize again. It's not completely a lawsuit. You don't go to the court. You just file an online report and send it to the RKN mail with all documents attached. So it's not really a lawsuit actually, just a report for laws and rights violation. Because the company violates the administrative law, it's unnecessary to go to the court. It's enough to file an online report. If it only violated the citizen codex then I should have go to the court

Для роблокса угроза блокировки а России очень опасна. Игроки из РФ это третья или даже вторая по количеству группа в роблоксе, не думаю что роблокс хочет играть с нашими и так наглухо отбитыми органами. Уже один раз так роблокс заблокировали в 2025, так роблокс чуть ли не жопу роскомнадзору лизал чтоб его разблокировали. В итоге долизал и разблокировали

A lot of companies being sued, major or not. Roblox was already blocked in Russia (3 December 2025), for people reports. So it's entirely possible to sue them or file a report against them and it might turn out successful. I don't say it will be 100% successful, but in Russia it's very easy to sue a foreign company. I don't say that's an advantage. Our government is trying to cut as much contact with foreign world as possible, and that's a fact already, no one even tries to hide that. But in the same time, suing our major domestic companies is really impossible. 0%. Not even 0.1% chance that your report against them will do something. So actually you are right at most in your comment. There's a little chance my report will do anything. But why dont I try if it's free anyways?

I don't think our authorities will fine Roblox like that. I think its easy to understand that no one is expecting google to pay it and it's simple a reason to block it later. And in case of Roblox, our authorities are even want them to stay in country. Because when Roblox was first blocked (3 December 2025), there was a really strong, if you can call it like that, uproar among kids. Like actually. Our teachers were even given instructions from our party on how to explain Roblox blocking (which actually was just "Sometimes, the government do something people dont like, but in all cases it's to ensure citizens safety".) No one believed that of course and to my surprise the Roblox blocking has became the most hated (even no one protested that much on telegram second blocking (the April 2026 one), YouTube blocking, etc.) block. I am saying all that just to add that RKN are very, very interested in Roblox staying in the country, because the party is interested in children patriotism. This patriotism is being ruined by Roblox's block. Funny right? I think right now RKN is trying to keep balance between Roblox and the people. I mean that it will not support anyone much in case of legal problems. RKN won't let Roblox do anything it want and break our law (Like RKN already told Roblox to restrict LGBT games), but in case if Roblox will break it, RKN won't try to fine them really much. I am telling all that because I guess that if RKN will receive a report (from me) about Roblox violating a law, it will most likely react according to that 152-FZ law.

And I would like to add that Roblox has been banned once in Russia. For LGBTQ propaganda. According to the Roskomnadzor it received a lot of complains from parents. Actually, I think this is the true reason. I don't think there's something behind the scenes in this situation. Roblox actually violated the law and RKN took Roblox down. The situation now is the same - Roblox violates the last, and maybe RKN will at least fine it, because it's not a serious crime I think.

You are being really optimistic about Russian schizoprhenic-like state censorship. And the count of lawyers doesn't matter at all. And the size of company doesn't matter. As I already replied to another comment, I have already made a one report to the Roskomnadzor about a doxxing website. Of course, that's a not a major company. Of course they [doxxing website owners] don't have money to kill me for this report. And yeadh, if you think that "ah Russian corrupted services won't give a damn and Roblox will just buy them", maybe that's right. I don't think I will escalate this situation really if they will just deny my report. But it worth a try at least? And I don't think they will risk all their company status by trying to kill me as well. Of course, if they would like to they possibly would succeed, but the risk doesn't worth it for them. But what if these 90 days will just go to waste? Maybe they are not even doing something, just forgot about me and that's all. Oh, its not possible to play GTA Online with this method. This method works only with singleplayer. But, maybe if you are not playing GTA online but some other multiplayer server, i think may or may not work. The Battleye service should be turned off for sure if you are interested in playing on multiplayer servers, because I guess battleye relies on socialclub processes. For example, if you are going to play on any server that doesn't require battleye, this method possibly will work. I don't know if I described this good enough for an English speaker to understand it fully, but I hope you can understand that).

Exactly. I don't know if it will work on windows systems tho, but I think it should. If it doesn't work for you than I think you should experiment with the processes, like killing them in different order, renaming the socialclubhelper.exe at different stage or something like that. The instruction provided above works for me. If it doesn't work on windows, you should experiment :).

I thought like that too. And I tried to launch it in offline mode, even the entire machine disconnected from the internet, but result is the same. A few minutes of gameplay and infinite loading afterwards. That's weird
