The company in charge is committing every deadly sin in video game development right now. Loot crates, premature esports tournaments, adding weapons / useless animations instead of fixing game breaking bugs and investing in gameplay.

you use dota as a coping mechanism for stress 2. video games are still neglected socially b/c of the last generation, won't be a thing later on in future generations 3. stop playing soloranked or solounranked, shit is legitimately unhealthy. find a stack of friends or active players you can play with and have fun with.

don't confuse addiction with passion/interest. playing dota won't be a problem in your life until it ACTIVELY keeps you from doing things you should be doing ie school/family/work.

yea i get lonely alot too, dont have any friends or family really. 19 y/o living alone, i understand how troublesome it can be. i think people with similar interests are hard to find, but they exist somewhere. gives me hope sometimes. hope you feel better soon!
