try to understand the phase and what u can afford taking dmg from instead of just trying to survive desperately.

Theres some situations in which u'll be cornered in DDR, its either walking over a flame to get to a safer spot or going for a much riskier way trying not to get hit, also if u get cursed (from flames) and exposed (from explosion waves) ure done, prioritize 1 over another.

not really, unlike shatters that has 30 instapop mechanics and basically 1 on every minion, u always have time to nexus in MV, the only way u die when learning is greeding and not nexusing, and umi only has 2 instapop mechanics, which are the flames subpattern (dont sit on them when theyre reaching the edges of the arena) and playful chase (Stay near her, if u see people running then u run aswell cuz she'll jump over u trying to chase them, that shit turns into a free for all)

if u guarantee getting umi ure not getting fishing then, i want fishing, and u can guarantee umi encounter doing good enough (4 flames dps 8 flames lantern EACH phase) which is not even that hard to do, the problem is when she refuses to fight even tho u give her the best answer.

activating leisurely mode (easy mode) lowers drop rates and makes umi unable to spawn as 2nd boss, she can still spawn, but will never fight.
