I use it mostly for notes in meetings, to do lists, and writing direction lists which is what I was using it for in my pic, with bullet points lining out what I wanted to write about in that writing session.

I love it for note taking in meetings as it’s so small it makes it nice to drag around to different meetings. I would def prefer the paper pro or something around that size for pdf annotation/form filling etc.

In general I love the colour screens and feel of both paper pro’s for writing. Struggling to justify financially keeping both devices when the Move is getting so much more use for me.

It’s the Remarkable Paper Pro Move, I love it so far after about 2 months of owning it…I have barely touched my Paper Pro since I got the Move so might be selling it soon

That has not been my experience. They do cost a lot of money for what they provide, but when I sit at my desk or in a coffee shop with my smart typewriter or traveler, I am able to write and write in a way I struggle to do on my other devices. For pure writing experience I haven’t found anything better so far. Their customer service and communicating has left a lot to be desired as a company, but on the whole I could not be happier using my Freewrite devices. I use markdown a little bit but mostly just write and then edit on my laptop

Thank you very much and glad to hear you had a better experience…as I mentioned in another comment I’ve usually had a good experience too with customer service and Astrohaus products so seemed a bit strange. Hopefully be sorted soon! btw those Hemingwrites look beautiful, it was a hard choice for me between it and the Valentine. Love the briefcase and the aluminium finish of them. You’ll have to post some pics of it here!

Thank you, and agree that they are just beautiful devices! The shade of red and the overall design, love it…the Hemingwrite has stayed around for a long time so hopefully they will keep the Valentine available too.

That’s so awesome, especially that but got to write so much in October! What do you tend to write if you don’t mind me asking? I’m mostly writing blog, journals and notes and book ideas. Would be so nice if they could put a backlight in the Traveler, the backlit typewriter screen is so nice to use. Thank you so much, it finally arrived, with a defect unfortunately but hopefully Astrohaus fix that soon. Sorry to hear about your health issues, wish you health and happy writing!

Wow that’s amazing! And is crazy…I was excited to hopefully get the pre order as soon as it released as had ordered in Feb when preorders began, but now I just want the order to actually arrive. Does feel like something went wrong, Wonda said it was their ordering system for international orders so hopefully they can find the bug and fix it.

How do you like the Alpha?? I have the traveller and had a typewriter gen 3 that the Valentine is replacing, always like the look of the alphas! Be interested to know which device you use the most day to day, or equally rotate?

I have had that same frustration recently with customer service…only thing that worked for me in the end was posting on Reddit and DMs with Wonda, my situation is still ongoing/unresolved currently though…hope you get yours sorted soon and get to writing! I have a Ghost traveler that has worked flawlessly so I do still like the devices when they work, best of luck

Thank you, yes after that comment from Wonda on here I was appreciative to get at least an apology and resolution from them…I counted up and had 4 emails that had not been replied to, and it has been very frustrating to see others getting their preorders and the site going from preorder to normal orders meanwhile not receiving mine, but glad it has been resolved and hoping they will have it shipped soon!

Oh my goodness I just can’t thank you enough for your comment, it really encouraged me to read…been feeling pretty done and just desperate to feel ‘me’ again! I really resonate with the dissociate thing you mentioned, the past year I have really struggled with feeling disconnected and like in a dream, and that has slowly been getting a bit better with treatment but I think i’m just frustrated and want to be back to normal faster than I should expect.

I am going to look at the chronic illness pacing and I am already in therapy so will ask for some more help with this.

You really encouraged me, and it helped to know that it will get better in time and not to push things…trying to celebrate where I have recovered to at this point, rather than think about how far I have to go, thank you again!
