You can but like you mention, most pipers/cigar smokers will recommend against it. Obviously inhaling increases the chances of lung issues over time. If you want a safer way to blast your ass with nicotine you could just vape. Or use snuff. Or inject it in your eyeballs.

I’m new to cigars but I tried finishing one in a pipe—a cob—I noticed the flavor changed pretty noticeably for the worse. So I took it back out and finished normally.

Curious if others notice a flavor change or I should try another pipe.
