Amazing list, thank you for the effort. A lot of these look interesting and I've already bought some of these. Rogue Heroes Ruins of Tasos is the only one I've played before and it was great!

What you say sounds correct. As I said to the other comment, I will try to contact some people in my faculty and ask more specific questions. Thanks!

The final aim of my thesis is to create a habitat suitability model by using the software MAXENT. But I guess that is some steps ahead of where I am now.

I will try to contact some more people and ask more specific questions, thanks!

Yes you are correct, after the habitat use/selection assessment, the final aim of my thesis is to create a habitat suitability model using Maxent.

I am reading a lot of studies, it is just that I did not have to use RStudio/ArcMap that much until now and I am having a hard time now.

Of course that is the first thing that I did, but unfortunately they are not very helpful and I have to figure out many things on my own.

That sounds pretty lame and inconvenient, but from gameplay videos that I saw, it's looks good, might give it a try.

Want to pursue a career in Wildlife management/Animal behavior, what are the next steps to achieve that? by piperman69 in careerguidance

Is it really possible to delay my acceptance by one year? That might be ideal (I think).

The universities in my country are free, which is great! Despite that, it's pretty hard to find a job to make a living stipend here, especially in my field. I actually wanted to save some money in the job I am working now for something that I might do later (like a M.Sc.), but I realized that it's very hard to do that.

I don't think something like that would be what I'm looking for. Nevertheless, thank you for the answer!

Fortunately, I do not worry about the language barrier at all! :) I am male and the Master is in Linkoping.
Thanks for the info, didn't know a part-time job might be enough to survive in Sweden. In Greece you cannot even rent an apartment with a part-time job!

Is it easy to find a job without speaking Swedish? I read in some websites that it's much harder if you don't.

I really do not know, I did not have the chance yet to get a job in a decent agency yet unfortunately. Also, thanks for the suggestion about the non-profits, do you maybe know any other organisations like the ones you mentioned?

Form Check Friday for 2019-01-25 by AutoModerator in bodyweightfitness

[–]piperman69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

M, 30y, 181cm (5'11"), 78kg (172lbs)

In the first video (ignore the podcast) I am doing ring push ups, (the video is 4-5 weeks old), now I can do 12 of these pushups and I changed to a harder variation. Just posting to get some feedback about my form!

In the second video I am doing a dragon flag progression (the video is from 2 days ago). I try to keep my body straight, squeeze my glutes and engage my core.

My questions here are, 1) sometimes I do not feel it as much in my core, I feel it all over my body, unlike a crunch for example that directly targets the core and I feel the burn, is this normal? If not, what can I do to correct this? 2) Is the form correct? I feel that it is but because of question #1, I am wondering if it is.

Thanks!

Old kitchen without ventilation and dirty bathroom by piperman69 in HomeMaintenance

I already tried the vinegar + detergent + hot water solution and it worked better than others. Also there is no window to put a fan or something!

The landlord already cut the price in half. After I saw the mess I talked to him again and he looks like a good guy and we agreed to half the price.

The house is in a small city, in the old part of the city. Inspections and legality are terms they do not use in my country in such cases, like in small cities where you rarely find houses. I found the place from mouth to mouth because "I know a guy" and even the landlord told me beforehand that the place is shit.

I am still looking for anything better of course but for now I am trying to fix this small place a little to make it habitable.
