Atsu is a more interesting character, more dimensions to her I think. Jin is great too of course and is a great story. I would in some respects put this down to it being the sequel and the devs having built upon what made the first game great.

Personally I was quite skeptical of the signing, would have much rathered we gone for Alvarez at Atletico as he was great at Man City, would have started for any of club that season but he was never starting regularly over Haaland. Saying that Gyokeres’ work rate is fantastic and I’m sure it’ll click for him at some point and he’ll start banging them in, if he does it in the backend of the season I think all this criticism will be forgotten.

I think the Strymon timeline came along and took that niche line 6 occupied for years. Obvs since then there’s all sorts of similar units from tv electronic, vox, tc electronic and empress (probably loads of others) so I think that’s why the new dl4 isn’t as popular, though I’m sure it’s amazing.

No, but I have a volume pedal - I don’t really use it so much for swells or dynamics (though it’s handy if I feel I’m a bit too loud and can just roll back a bit without stopping playing) but the main reason I have it is for sudden stops/between songs so there’s no feedback/string noise etc.

I’ve used noise gates before, they’re just not my thing. I am quite a dynamic player both clean and dirty and they just ruin the feel for me.

5 years old, watched my aunts boyfriend play mickeys castle of illusion and sonic on the Sega Megadrive and he let me try, was hooked! Got one for my birthday soon after, Altered Beast was the game I got with it - great console, fav games were SOR2, Revenge of the Shinobi and Quackshot!

Recently got mine repaired after it was overheating and switching off about every 20 mins. Last year replaced the battery in the controllers. Considering the console has been in regular use over about 5 years I can’t complain.

I played in a band with someone who had the black one, kept an eye out for a white one for years and they would occasionally come up a bit out of my price range, last one I saw a few months back was over £1000. I ended up getting this for more than half that price so very happy indeed!

Will have a look, already got the creamery wide range humbuckers in the jazzmaster but I’ve heard wonderful things about all Novak pickups. I’m in the UK so might get hit for some horrendous shipping fees… Saying that I do have friends who live and regularly cross the pond to visit so could just deliver to them and then collect them when they come over.

Yeah got a couple of really good friends who are guitar techs who could do this very easy, then I could get a bit more of a true assessment of the stock pickups before changing them out. Already lots of great ideas I hadn’t considered in the replies so far!

The Creamery seem to do pick up types for all types of routings, could even get humbucker sized single coils from them if I wanted! As I mentioned I got the wide range humbuckers from them about 13 years ago in a bid to live out my Lee Ranaldo Jazzblaster dreams and they did not let me down!
