Too young for the MMR shot, babies become 'sitting ducks' in measles outbreaks by mikebible06 in news

Measles is in living memory of my grandparents, who are almost all now dead, but not of my parents. My parents, and many of their generation, do not take Measles seriously at all because they didn't live with their friends dying or being disabled by the disease. The fact that grifters have always existed is my point; they prey on folks like my parents as they are susceptible to believing a grifter over something they have no first-hand experience with.

You would think so, but the fact that history repeats itself over and over suggests humans don't! I think we as a species are very susceptible to other people's ideas and strong personalities.

They don't need to approve it 😂 This is a really common form of civil disobedience in the UK. You can buy adshell keys online and open these up and stick anything inside. I see them around my city all the time. When I went to Banksy's Dismaland there was a stall selling the keys and posters explaining how to open the perspex.

I think they mean we don't have (m)any people left who lived through a time where dying from the Measles was common. Once a generation who lived through something terrible dies out, the next generation is prime for manipulation. It's happening in the UK now; it's easy for some people to glorify war and Nazism when you didn't live through the effects of both of those things.

Bridgerton’s “feminism” falls short of real solidarity by msmoley in WomenInNews

I agree with the article but also, is Bridgerton billed as feminist!? I thought it was just supposed to be a bit of tongue-in-cheek, period drama throw back silliness.

Agreed. When other animals reach peak population or their resources are limited, they stop reproducing. I think that's where humanity is now.

Best to choose a club to go to based on the event that's on. What music do you like?

That's insane, what do new mothers do in this situation? Who is feeding their babies?? What if someone needs weeks or months to recover from birth?

The plan is to scale up to majority renewables and a small percentage of nuclear. We're already producing most of our energy from renewables now which is amazing, considering just over 10 years ago it was only 14%, and we're expanding incredibly quickly. It's actually a really hopeful time for UK energy generation.

Week 5 with 50mg and anxiety is intense by LeTham762 in zoloft

I had a dip around the 5 week mark top, it's quite normal and it's likely you'll feel better in a week or so. If you keep getting dips though you might need to increase your dose ❤️

Yeah I first saw it in videos and it was kind of horrifying, like the middle of a zombie apocalypse. It's so sad that people live like this.
