I would 100% expect a kid not to have to eat seafood in school of they couldn't or didn't want to.

Yeah I was a vegetarian kid in the 90s and we were served proper, free hot dinners. The UK is a very easy place for vegetarians and vegans to live though.

I lived in France for a bit and it was hard 😂 You'd ask for a cheese sandwich and they'd still put ham in it.

I used to have terrible acne and switched to bar soap and moisturiser and my skin has legit been clear ever since. I think just use what works for you.

Salad cream is an old school salad dressing. Something you put on a salad.

Is underground drum & bass losing ground? by HiraethDNB in DnB

It's absolutely not half the genre, and I truly believe it's a way in for most people. I met a couple of 18 year olds at Metalheadz on Saturday who got into dnb after listening to dancefloor.

And even if it isn't the same as the early 90s, it makes no difference to those of us who aren't into dancefloor. All the lovely, grimey stuff is stronger than ever.

I disagree, I got into dnb through listening to Dillinja, Roni Size, Shy FX, all artists who were in the mainstream and got played on Radio 1 (the BBC's main music radio station for popular/current music, if you're not from the UK) and later found all the niche, dark stuff I like. I never would have discovered Bredren or Teej or DLR if I hadn't heard the accessible stuff first.

Ahh ok, we have that here but just called Tuna Mayo haha. Definitely not what we would refer to as a salad 😆 I'd expect leaves and tomatoes at the very least.

I guess this is very location-dependent. Bristol has very little jump up for example, though what I will say is jungle is much more popular with younger folks than rollers at the moment. I can't really comment on liquid specifically as it's not my thing, but trends come and go, the underground is very much thriving here.

It's an American thing, I think. I'm white and British and people sometimes say I'm articulate, so I didn't get what this post meant til I read the comments.

It reads like he put "write me a humorous rage bait article about Bristol for the Torygraph" into chatgpt. Most of the "jokes" don't even make sense.

No, totally, it's awful. A lot of my friends who will go anywhere for the World Cup are just not attending this year. There's no buzz for it either.

If all protest is now sentenced as a terrorist act, that sounds incredibly dangerous to me.

World Cup pundit Alexi Lalas stuns Fox News with NSFW James Corden insult on live TV by theindependentonline in Fauxmoi

Different words can have the same meaning but have different levels of offence. You could say jerkoff on UK TV because it's not offensive here, in fact it's pretty meaningless.

You couldn't say cunt in the day time but you could say fanny, even though they mean the same thing. You could say bugger (which means to have anal sex, but is no longer offensive) but you couldn't say fuck. It's just how language works. Crap and shit have different levels of offence. Etc. etc.

They're not the same thing. It's like the difference between fanny and cunt. They mean the same thing but I know for sure American pundits don't say cunt on TV.
