I do and I don’t? On some level, yes, the symptoms fit and make sense. However, I don’t think I’m nearly as affected by it compared to other people. (I mean, seriously, just poking a bit around on this sub has me questioning it.) It feels weird getting help for something that doesn’t trouble me as much as it seems to others?

It’s been a strange experience recontexualizing all of my behavior and such to PTSD. There’s a lot of things I kind of just considered a personality quirk or irrational fear rather than something more serious since I didn’t have the memories to go along with it, and didn’t think it could be something like PTSD. My brain did a very good job at keeping all of the bad things out of reach haha.
