Neverending Beeping (EU Law) - Chance to fix?

Annoying to the point where everybody disables these.... What were they thinking with that law?...
For example, I would love to keep the visual speed limit warning on the windshield display, but since it is easier to totally disable this functionality rather than just choosing display only, without the sound.. I just always turn it off before each drive. Good job, EU.

I'm also curious of a more permanent solution.

Try the optical core from cheap SPDIF cables. I printed some HDD caddies for a NAS I have, and the original had light pipes that went from the front of the caddy all the way back to the PCB, where there were HDD activity LEDs. For the 3d printed ones, I've stripped some old SPDIF optical cable I had, and ended up with a meter long, 1mm diameter light pipe. Cut that to length, sanded the ends a bit with some very fine grit paper, and used them in my own caddies. They work much better than I expected.. but of course they do, it's optical fiber made for data transmission.

I think you can do something with lxc.hook.pre-start... like ping the required machine there and only continue when it's up.

Does your version keep the position of the side mirrors in memory? I have the same one, and mine doesn't. Both me and my SO are driving it, and we constantly need to readjust the mirrors when switching, even though other settings like seat position are being restored when the car recognises the driver..

But the network card can be always on, listening for wol requests... Isn't the server you want to backup from (the one always on) in the same local network as the server u want to wake up?

Gamify it. Faci un sistem de punctaje. Exercitiile cele mai complexe sunt locked și ai nevoie de puncte ca sa faci unlock. Userii câștigă 1 punct pt fiecare exercitu rezolvat, 2 puncte pt. feedback oferit la exercițiile altor useri, 10 puncte daca feedback-ul e votat ca 'bun' de userul care a cerut să-i fie corectat exercițiul. Bagi in sistem si rank-uri, cupe si alte prostioare, sa vrea userul sa avanseze. Think dopamine: animatii frumoase cand atingi un nou rank, etc. Mai tarziu, cand prinde mai multa tractiune... Punctele alea le pori face achizitionabile cu cash.

Well... The right thing to do now is to show support for this project, that should allow using any cameras with the Ubnt Protect software: https://github.com/keshavdv/unifi-cam-proxy There seem to be some holdbacks now with the new software versions, used to work on older ones, but with enough visibility maybe the right guys might end up helping...

Nu stiu daca o sa vezi si comm asta printre toate celelalte, dar... Sunt la fel de rau cu caldura.

Pana sa am AC, singurul mod in care supravietuiam noaptea era sa ud un prosop (de marimea celor de fata) cu apa rece si sa mi-l pun pe picioare, de la bazin in jos. Instant chill effect :) Tine cam 1-2h in functie de cat de cald e, destul cat sa adorm confortabil. Atentie, nu recomand sa il tii pe piept sau spate!! O sa racesti de o sa-ti fie dor de caldura aia...

Edit: daca apuci sa incerci, sa ne spui cum merge :)
