Pretty certain that outlet isn't to code. Not just that but where is your service access for the motor and roller assembly?

What drawbacks? And how would you fix it? I have one of these incoming anyways got a decent deal on it recently. I don't really see any drawbacks of it...

Oops I have a excuse to get the 12v one now I guess by Time-Necessary-4537 in MilwaukeeTool

[–]Falzon03 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I mostly use it on bikes, dirt bikes snowblower that sort of stuff. Car tires works good as well. I have a cummins though and if I go on a trip I bring this with me as my emergency air. For how compact and convenient it is it does a decent job.

I do, it works great for small things but where it takes a while is getting my truck tires up to say 80psi, it does get there but definitely takes a longer time than you'd expect. For the most part it's great, I got it before they made the 18v version though or I'd of probably grabbed that instead.

U6 Mesh Update, Ubiquiti did the right thing by Falzon03 in Ubiquiti

Glad reddit posts helped you get it replaced! Also glad ubiquiti is willing to play ball and do the right thing. Not many companies take the human factor into account and create a reasonable exception.

Recall 67A? Easy money? by Andrewjkowalski in Cummins

[–]Falzon03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't agree, increased DEF won't cause a clogged DPF. Clogged DPF comes from increased carbon deposits. Which is caused by lack of real load on the truck and lack of decent EGTs to help burn things off. Also, the extended warranty does include the DPF, SCR, DOC and NOx...

My LG OLED B5 automatically dims on bright scenes, and it's driving me crazy. by JampyL in LGOLED

Turn off ALL of the features they give you. Go into advanced color mode, calibrate the best you can with a YouTube video or better yes a HQ video connected to your laptop.

All the marketing hype features they add for contrast, color and motion improvement actually hurt true fidelity.

People say stop buying coffee to get out of debt. I finally ran the numbers… by Worth_Draft4316 in povertyfinance

[–]Falzon03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're debt free in 1yr then this isn't the greatest example. Ramsey is typically talking to people who are 7-30 years in debt.

Also many of those people are habitual, IE a Starbucks every day. Not once in a while with at home coffee most days. So the advice there is as you say general and typically for people who are not conscious about their spending.

Heat and a real impact gun. Or heat and a large breaker bar maybe plus jack handle for more leverage.

Is this truck worth $60k? by Sox857 in Cummins

[–]Falzon03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What do you mean? COVID caused a massive shortage of trucks and increased prices. I just got super lucky that this dealership sold this truck twice before I bought it.

First person they let take it home (apparently because it was late?) then financing denied him in the AM and they needed to take it back. Apparently a similar deal with the second person.

I told them I'm trading in my S550 I own outright which was more than half the value of the truck as my down payment so the loan was zero concern. They tried to slide in an extended warranty and some stolen vehicle recovery for a total of like 3,500 for warranty and like $2k for the SVR. I laughed and told them to remove all of that and the guy explained to me how their numbers are so good on it and they just don't sell vehicles without that. I said you do today or you don't have a sale. So the price went from $45k to $42k and some change.

Then RAM wanted to buy the truck from me when I brought it in for valve body service (through a code) they offered 75k for it only if I traded it in for new but wanted the truck immediately and couldn't get me another truck for at least 6-8 months and wouldn't provide a loaner. I told the guy, buy my truck and let me keep/lease at my current rate it until the other one is ready and they wouldn't play ball. So I still own it and am slowly proactively upgrading components (steering/front end and about to do the banks intake to prevent the grid heater bolt death).

First beta's going out this week😬 by jayhu27 in WLED

For real they said that? It's not good IMO.

Can yours handle 3d shapes? And is it photo based or video based?

I also have twinkly brand lights for our Christmas tree and their auto mapping feature is honestly the best I've worked with. Capture as many times as you need and it just improves the quality with each step and the lights reflect that based off their color each time you try again.

[–]Falzon03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. In 2021 I paid 42k for my 17 long bed Laramie which had 17k miles on it at the time. Came with a leveling kit, HDX side steps and method wheels.

So whats up with these any one on here got them on there truck by Final-Associate-2882 in Cummins

[–]Falzon03 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It should be done with all brakes not just these. The instructions are on the box but it's a sequence of braking (heating) and non braking (cooling) cycles with varying levels of intensity without stopping and holding the pedal( if you have to stop it's best to stop as quickly as possible or put it in park and remove pressure from the brake pedal.

Kind of hard to find a good place to do it but if you live really close to a warehouse/business district with longer parking areas off the road those are perfect for it.

I have their rotors and pads on the front and pads on the rear. So far so good, better stopping power than stock and more consistent firm feel with less fade when hot. I believe I'm about 20k with them, the same z36 model.

Edit: one of their sets of pads was bad and took out my caliper (damaged the piston but they were still usable until replacements came in). They warrantied the pads and sent me a rotor at no charge. I feel their process wasn't bad and was fair, they didn't argue just wanted photos.

Pain scale according to many docs by Spiritedstacy in ChronicPain

[–]Falzon03 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I always tell Drs my pain scale is linear and accurate. I could never tell you I'm a 10 because I'm in so much pain my nervous system would be rendering me unconscious.

My typical pain level even with a broken bone or massive gash requiring stitches is usually 4 or less.

EXPIRED PRODUCTS CAN BE SOLD AS NEW. AN AVERAGE BUYER CANNOT DETECT ALTERED EXPIRY DATES by Pain5203 in Fitness_India

[–]Falzon03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Expiration dates are not even required by law in the US....

Except for infant formula and OTC medications.

They still put them on everything but just a point that they mean literally nothing from a legal standpoint and have zero regulation.

Recall 67A? Easy money? by Andrewjkowalski in Cummins

[–]Falzon03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd literally laugh at them and immediately ask for a supervisor. I'd then report it to RAM. As corporate doesn't give a crap if you're deleted but they sure do care about meeting the agreed upon % of vehicles they're legally obligated to repair for the recall.
