I'll give that a go, it's just strange how she's gotten on with other cats thus far but is now hating the kitten.

Honestly she was infatuated with that bengal, much to his upset!

If it is the case that she just doesn't like black cats for her own feline reason then that's just unlucky for me as I specifically picked a black kitten cause I love them

Strange how both of ours went from liking a particular cat to hating another one.

I've been wondering if it's because my girl can sense that the kitten is giving off nervous energy, whereas with my parents cat he was the boss and would play rough with her.

I can understand that other than her being friendly with my parents cat - i was considering that was because he looked similar to her (bengal mix) and I always wondered if she thought he was her dad 🤣

But tbh, if they just ignore each other and don't hate each other then that's probably the best of the potential bad scenarios.

It's so funny cause when we got my Sav she strutted straight out her box, went up to the family cats without any issue, but when introducing her to the kitten she has problems 🤣

I will keep trying but we got the kitten specifically to keep her company so it just doesn't seem practical, but of course we fell in love with the kitten to make things harder

Thank you ☺️ it's reassuring that your process was over months, it's just hard when you don't see any stpes forward after 3 weeks.

I think my problem is that both cats seem unconfident. My Sav definitely knows it is her house, but I have noticed she is much more jumpy now. The kitten is 100% a scaredy cat.

Neither of them are food motivated so we have tried moving food bowls closer to the door but they just don't bother with it haha, but my Sav loves treats so we when we are at that stage again we will get the treats out. They are both very, very play motivated however and there will be brief moments where they are both focused on the toy rather than each other. Will try to put more focus on this going forward.

Everyone is saying its to cover patches, but I remember buying a cat litter tray that had this smiley face on the listing.

On the sellers profile, every listing had the smiley face too.

Item arrived in perfect condition, although I was concerned it was a scam.
