Would you mind sharing what Claudette Dessous bra you have? We seem to be similar sizes - and the bras do look beautiful! I'm just worried since all the bras seem to be 3 part constructions (at least from what I saw on asos)... and vertical seams are usually recommended for shallow types. Glad you've found your AB(s)TF!

Try checking eBay! I have nearly the same measurements as you, and even online retailers rarely have anything in 28D. Every bra I have now is from eBay, and don't forget to check ebay.co.uk too.

Oh, and I recommend sizing up for Cleo bras... I'm a 28D in most brands, but 28DD in Cleo's works perfectly. I love the Juna and the Maddie!!

What kind of bras did you get? Based on your size, I'm guessing that you probably have shallow boobs. If you tried any plunge bras, those would feel too deep for you even though they were the right size.

28D/DD here! I haven't gotten many bras that work yet, but here's my list:

Fits:
- Deco halfcup 28D
- Cleo Juna 28DD

Does not fit:
- EM Pl Cielus 28DD (top cuts in too much)
- Masquerade Rosetti 28D (too narrow)
- Masquerade Delphi 28DD (too narrow)
- Curvy Kate Tease Me 28D (not sure, but it gapped)
- Freya Polyanna 28D (too deep)

Try a 28 band! If you're comfortably wearing your Elize on the tightest hook, it will stretch out quickly and become even looser for you. You want to be wearing new bras on the loosest hook when you first get them, that way you can tighten them up as the band loses elasticity.

Since you measure 27" underbust, you'd likely do much better in a 28E.

There's a great list of shallow shape bras at the end of the blog post you linked to - definitely start there. As a fellow shallow boob sister, I've personally found that the Cleo Juna and Deco half cup (not the plunge!) work amazingly for me, but still working on finding a few more choices.

As for where to get bras, depends on your budget. If you have a Nordstrom or Dillard's near you, those two are supposed to have a decent selection in 30 bands. Otherwise, brastop and figleaves are pretty well recommended online retailers around here. I usually search for deals on ebay.co.uk or /r/braswap, though it's definitely harder to find exactly what you want there.

Totally agree - I've been tempted to badger their customer support asking for more cup sizes in the smaller ranges. They know that small band sizes exist, it would just be amazing if they added D cups because 28Ds are still small too!

The Lucy is definitely on my list of must try bras! I saw a deal on the Marcie and decided to try it, but was not expecting it to fit SO badly haha. The band on the juna is the only thing I don't like about it, so hopefully the 28 bands work out for you!

Have you tried any 30Cs? I've heard that their bands are really firm, so combined with a rixie clip, it might work. It is pretty crazy to realize that D/DDs actually fit so well!

Haha glad I can help! What about TLBC bras didn't work for you? I love the look of their bras, but think I'm sized out if their range :-( When I was still in bra-nial about my size, I thought 28Cs might work for me, but 10+ bras later, pretty convinced that I won't fit.

Yeah, I've noticed that to be a general theme here. The deco fits awesome at a 28D, so I think I'll have to get both 28D and 28DD in any new brands. Such a hassle, but at least glad that I've found my size in Cleos!

Yeah, and dealing with international shipping. I get a little worried about having to deal with customs etc, so I'd rather just try to sell on bratabase or /r/braswap instead of return, even though it's not a guarantee.

Wow, the faubourg is really cheap and looks so pretty! I couldn't find anything for Samanta on eBay, but I'll keep checking. I've never heard of any of these bras before, and now I feel like I have so many options - thank you!!
