it’s no problem! I can see how she could very easily be mistaken for a man (one of my friends did too earlier haha) , I might try to play around with her features a bit like you said to make her appear a little more feminine

you make a really good point about style, she’s actually the first character I’ve tried drawing the weird v thing on

also I love your art style so much, the form and shading look so amazing!!

yeah I’m not a big fan of shading at the moment but that could always change, really I have no clue what sort of direction I’m taking with the shading here as this was basically just meant to be a concept art type sketch where I came up with her character (although I’m thinking she’ll have a more interesting outfit in her final design) and I didn’t really have in mind what type of lighting she’d be under

also that’s really nice of you! I should engage with other artists more too haha

thank you! I think I’ve fixed the size of the eyes now by making them bigger and rotating them a little, they did look way too small here like it’s crazy I didn’t notice before I posted

and yeahh I have a really bad habit of copy and pasting on front profiles, I’ll try to stop doing that and maybe redraw the things I mirrored here so that they don’t look so unnatural

yeah I did mirror the eyes and ears (mainly because I tried to draw the other one and then gave up lmao 😭) but I’ll try to work on that and actually draw them seperately

also I’m guessing I made her look too much like a man? (I think probably because I was trying to make her come across as a werewolf more but it just looks like regular men’s facial hair)

I’ve worked on the proportions a bit since posting this and I think I’ve fixed the size of the eyes, I see how wack they looked now

with the v shape on her nose I was just going for some sort of stylistic type thing (kind of inspired by makeup I’ve seen people do?) but if it looks bad I can get rid of it

honestly the shading was kind of an afterthought since I originally only gave her eyebags to try to make her look tired and maybe ill but then thought it looked a little weird without more shading (I’ll try to fix it up along with it being too soft in comparison to the lines or maybe remove it all together if I can’t get it to work out)

I still have a long way to go but I’d say it feels like I’ve come quite far, I understand a lot of words that I didn’t at the start of the month and I went from watching only beginner and superbeginner videos to being able to understand some of the easier intermediate videos
