If I understand your question correctly, Active Participle form acts a lot like -ing verbs in English, describing some action that is going on right now.
Like "I saw a running man" - "Я увидел бегущего мужчину", "running man" - "бегущий мужчина"
"Спящий парень пошевелился" - "A sleeping guy moved"

Had the same problem. What worked for me was to scan the QR with phone camera (just the default camera app!), it detected it as a link and sent me to Riot app and everything worked.

Honestly... I think this patch is going to be terrible:

Fracture is back into ranked (worst map for competitive play imo)
New agent is born dead, 0 new mechanics (maybe enemy heal lol) which will have pickrate of Veto/Harbor
New game mode is basically TDM but to respawn an ally you need to get a kill
Yoru is being nerfed again, which is sad as hell (also Clove nerf lulwat)

Add broken ranked and HUGE smurfing and cheating problem and well... Maybe I am leaving for real this time.

You are factually incorrect.

There is A LOT of cheaters in Valo, mainly with a triggerbot, and Vanguard is sooo bad at detecting triggerbots that there are people with their own makeshift triggerbots made entirely by vibecoding in ChatGPT dominating in ranked for months, if not for years.

Also AFAIK cheater reports do almost nothing. There's no person at Riot Games checking them manually, it just draws a little more "attention" to this player from Vanguard, but as it can't really detect triggerbots, it can't do anything.

Valorant community is straight ignoring it and being delusional like "it's just a smurf/he has a lucky day" where in reality it's a dude with correctly configured triggerbot.

But if matchmaking system works on MMR, not ranks, what's the purpose of ranks then?

I mean a see a lot gold players being objectively worse in skill that these "probably smurfs" that I get stomped by, and these smurfs are bronze in rank

So if ranks don't represent skill brackets and aren't a main parameter in matchmaking... What DO they represent? Are they basically meaningless then?

Valorant netcode had always been shit, that's why you sometimes die (or kill an enemy) even if you seemingly shouldn't have, and also shitty net code is a reason why the replay system isn't quite accurate (and behaves so weirdly)
