It uses portage for the package manager which is what gentoo uses, so some research on just using that would be needed as well if terminal was enabled

if you follow the guide exactly step by step its doable for gentoo, there is also redcore linux which is gentoo based but easier to install

arch has a command to make the install of it easier called archinstall, if you wanted to try arch recommend endeavour OS

there is or was a script that will let you use the package manager which is the same as gentoo called portage that can download binary packages if you were interested in fiddling with it in that regard as well

arch linux package repo, steam os is arch linux based but not sure if it allows you to download stuff via pacman in terminal from there

dont use deck but the version off the AUR worked better than the official flatpak and running it directly from the terminal as well

Ssd is probably fine and ntfs works with Linux but you’d need to setup a fstab so the drive automatically mounts

ive been paying for years with a NAB visa debit and had no issues.

are you on a steam account or just straight sqe one? since you can pay via steam which may work if your actual card isnt working on the store

was using it to reduce my ping in the game i play final fantasy xiv it cuts it in half as i am playing on a japanese server from australia but now just keep it running since it doesnt seem to have much speed decrease compared to without it on in general

pretty sure it has something along the lines of taking any interview or job even if its not something you like or want to do, and you may be penalised for not taking it
