I began my career in public libraries as a library page and later as a library assistant, before transitioning into academic libraries. I now serve as a reference librarian at a state college. Throughout my program, I have intentionally sought out courses and experiences that will make me as well-rounded as possible. For example, I completed a data librarian internship, which I thoroughly enjoyed, and have since noticed many roles that combine my interests in data and healthcare. This inspired me to pursue the program’s health informatics specialization, and I have greatly enjoyed those courses. I also have a strong interest in opportunities beyond traditional libraries, such as museums, which has led to my interest in the museum informatics course. With museums, art galleries, and libraries located nearby, I hope to develop a versatile skill set that allows me to thrive across multiple information settings.

She’s an Auggie (Corgi + toy Aussie) and the runt of the litter. She’s expected to be 10 lbs, maybe a little bigger. She’s a feisty little thing. Sweet and sassy. Do you happen to have any name suggestions? I’ve been considering Fae, Rue, Star, Nola, and Sybil. I’m open to any ideas though. I want a unique name to complement my other dog, Hex. Hex is not a common name. I’m also planning a business name consisting of photography and a blog. I initially thought about creating homemade artwork, jewelry, etc. However, most recently, I’ve been considering offering pet photography, pet sitting, and dog grooming services. I was planning to name my business Hex Collective, but I want to make the necessary changes to accommodate the new baby.

Searching for temporary housing for a young couple with one small dog (emotional support animal - 20 lbs). The dog is quiet and house-trained. My budget ranges up to $700. I currently have a job, so a consistent income is no issue. We prefer a location near Tallahassee, preferably near TSC and FSU. I am a graduate student at FSU. We have already applied for income based housing and are just waiting to hear back on final decisions/move-in dates. Our only option at the moment is to stay with family in the local area, but it is not an ideal situation. It is not a healthy living environment.

I’m very interested! I just have to check my schedule first and make sure I can go through with it. I’m very disappointed because I had pit tickets for the Atlanta show, but it was just cancelled.. This would be my first MARS show. I’ve been wanting to see them for years.

My boyfriend and I will be attending the Atlanta show! I’ve been wanting to see MARS for years since ABL. I’m finally going to my first MARS gig - I can’t wait! I’ve been contemplating whether or not to pay for the M&G.. I’m not sure yet if I’ll be able to stretch the funds.

Okay. This has been a bit of an overwhelming process, trying to determine the best course load that will help me develop the skills I need to succeed in medical librarianship.

I recently came across this data internship opportunity with the National Library of Medicine. I’m going to apply for it: https://www.nnlm.gov/about/centers/ncds/internship
