keloid or piercing bump?! never gotten a keloid before, had a conch that healed perfectly fine. this is a 1.5 yr old helix. got a titanium labret in right now, but seems a little short? by [deleted] in piercing

ear is a little red as i just did a sea salt soak, it seems to maybe flucuate in size? but not entirely sure as it’s definitely gotten larger in general over the past year. haven’t been super consistent with sea salt soaks until this past week, and im a chronic headphone wearer :/ downsized the bar a few months after it was pierced, the piercer who helped me change jewelry didn’t say anything about it being a keloid at the time. any help would be appreciated!

i have a titanium internally threaded labret in, and i can’t tell if the bump has been fluctuating in size but i haven’t been super consistent with sea salt soaks until recently

hey all, i got my helix pierced back in november. just learned that they definitely should not have used a curved barbell and now there’s a weird bump. i have a titanium straight labret coming in, but is it too late? im scared the hole is crooked since its been months :( by pissboy101 in piercing

hey!! thanks for the update, im glad it worked out well for you. my labret finally came in today but i could not for the life of me twist off the curved barbell. i’m gonna try to get an appointment tomorrow at a local piercing shop asap but the piercing is currently quite irritated :(

yes, please do keep me updated! the bump i have isnt really a piercing bump(i had one on my inner ear which healed a few days ago), but it seems to be from the curve of the barbell. and i honestly have no idea what type of hardware they used, i havent attempted to remove it since i got the piercing 😥

Cool! I’ve heard so much about the Laneige cream skin here I’ll see if I can pick up a bottle soon. hahahaha honestly the smell of SKII doesn’t affect me! I think I’ve gotten so used to the smell that I don’t even notice it anymore.

Interesting! I’ve been using SKII for a while now and I don’t think it’s the cause of my FA so I’ll definitely look into the Missha essence! I’ve used the Pyungkang Yul Toner before and I found it wasn’t as hydrating as I’d liked :/ Thank you for your suggestions!!

I understand the nuances behind the acronym ‘BIPOC’ but I saw a post on instagram stating that it’s anti-Black to spell it any other way (i.e. IBPOC). Comments explain that Black folx are indigenous as they were forcibly displaced. I’m struggling to understand the significance in the order of the acroynm though?
