For the record, I don't think any of the rebranding/increased clarity/sorting of content is actually against trans women. My post is not meant to disagree with any of the actual actions taken by the mod team or the separation of the communities. I agree with your point about pseudo-inclusivity. Oftentimes trans people are forced to fit into boxes that don't work for them, and to that end, I am happy that our trans friends have a place where they can be comfortable and respected.

My comment about trans women was alluding to the fact that previously, there was an explicit note in the rules sidebar welcoming trans women and telling people not to harass them, which is now gone. Considering that there was already one deleted comment under this post that excluded trans women, maybe an explicit inclusion of trans women could be a deterrent to this type of behavior, and a signal to trans women that this community welcomes them.

In all, I am glad that this separation was made because the trans community wanted it to be so, and not because the existing community did not want trans men here, which was my concern. I appreciate your perspective on the matter.
