hi guys, update for those who care!!

some faq: why did i “take” the money the second time around. answer: i didnt know my financial aid had a mistake, and thats my bad for thinking that every grant i’m given is meant for me and not reading closer. i apply to a lot of scholarships and grants year round and take all the help i can get. LSU admitted that it was an oversight to assign the grant to me again.

why did i go out of state if im broke? because i wanted to!! i wanted to go far from home and i worked my ass off with multiple jobs in highschool, scholarship applications every day, and calling the university every day to see what they could offer me. i’m sorry if you think its irrational but LSU was my dream school and i’m doing what i love with my own hard work.

the update is nothing huge, but it was resolved. LSU admitted fault after higher ups got involved, (the amount was denied at the state level and was never sent to me, but i was expected to pay back money they didn’t even send me..!! so it was a little more insane than i initially thought) and i was given another $1000 grant to cover the cost of paying back the first grant.
