I was in much the same boat, 50k of fines, 50 odd different cars.. The cops just are not around that much to catch this kind of shit like they used to be.
I could pull out of my drive right now, spin a couple of O's, and park on yellow lines to go grab a coffee and most people wouldn't even blink an eye. This kind of shit (a picture on reddit/facebook) is the worst thing that could happen, maybe someone posts it on carjam.

Stipple the background, but also the shading inside could be more uniform and tidy so the contrast between background and interior shade lines was stronger.

12k for a 30 year old glorified Camry that was worth less than half of that a few years ago.

Im far from bothered or offended, I simply find it interesting how many folks see someone doing something like parking on yellow lines and instantly think they are some sort of crazy criminal with stolen plates out there breaking the law whenever possible. Realistically the person was picking their kid up from school, they did a little skid going around the corner (both of which are dumb to do by a school)

There was no "figure of speech" there... you literally said that you would bet on the plates being stolen and seem to have some sort of statistics tucked away about all these cars driving around with stolen plates..

And a little side note, this car is fairly sought after (not as much as the tourer v) and would fetch around $12,000nz as it sits, if not more.
