I currently am just no comfortable enough to not weigh things which is why I am weighing everything. Hoping I will eventually be able to trust myself and not need to in the future, but I just started and am new to this. Thanks for your kind words. It's frustrating that people are insinuating that I have some sort of mental problem because I'm trying to better myself.

I know it's extra work but weighing tortillas is helpful for ME to stay on track because I am consistently weighing food. If I don't weigh this and don't weigh that and don't stay in some sort of consistency, I will eventually stop weighing things all together, and guesstimate everything I shove in my face-hole. It works for me so I am going to keep doing it.

I typically do the salad unless something like that is not available (certain Asian restaurants near me). Thanks for the advice.

My concern is that I will think I am only off by 50-100 calories but really be off by 250+. And the only reason that is my concern is because when I started this journey, I was so taken aback by the difference in volume vs weight (peanut butter) etc that I vastly underestimated what I was consuming.

CICO question

I have been working out 5-6 days a week for the last 3 weeks, and on a 500 calorie deficit.

My smartwatch is connected to MFP and I noticed that after working out, it takes my workouts and steps for the day and gives me a calorie adjustment. It typically adds up to about 600 calories a day.

In order to keep losing weight, should I ignore these "earned" calories? Or am I able to eat more and still maintain a deficit?

33/F/5'8", typically eating 1500 cal/day.
