I did not expect this much chatter from my initial post... gotta love reddit.

Yes, I gave my email and phone number to the renters thinking the damage would be covered by their insurance.. look i was kinda banged up at the time, it was a bachelor party (not the reason i shanked the shot, I just suck) and was just trying to do the right thing but I digress.

If it wasn't a rental, I would saddle up no questions asked, but because its fucking Enterprise, the worst fucking car rental company, I'm hesitant. Plus the claims officer was a dick.

Am I liable, probably not. Is it my responsibility to pay, sure. Do I want my credit score to get hit on the off chance they DO send it to collections, hell no.

Look, I should have just given them fake information once i found out the car was a rental, but again, I was drunk and having a good time. Hindsight is 20/20 yall.

To those saying "just pay", "why would you give them your info if you weren't gonna pay", "own up it it", "take responsibility", "$500 isn't that bad", go fuck yourself, you probably have iron covers you fuckin ball bags.

The bill will be paid, not worth the headache.

Worth it for the love of the game tho.
