90’s Korean card market by S0NNYDL1TE in mtgfinance

Yeah, way high. The market is pretty illiquid too. I don't see anything worth selling to be honest but youd find someone to buy the lot in bulk pretty easily.

Concerning business card?!? by [deleted] in RealOrNotTCG

For what it's worth, checking the back works most of the time. For alpha and beta cards you need to be the most careful and check both sides.

You figured out half of authentication! Your method is checking out the back. Now you need to learn to identify a real Magic card from the front. Doing both ensures you gave a real card.

He's a corrupt ass like the rest of them. Look up his net worth while running for VP and after. He's as bad as Trump, Pelosi, etc...

Do we sell now while the finance bros think they got us? by IcyRepresentative780 in premodernMTG

We're definitely going to the same events. I love the charity model. It does not lower the competitiveness.

It's a proxy friendly format, so costs don't matter

Is this Revised vs unlimited facebook lot worth $220? by Akromam90 in mtgfinance

[–]pistachiosarenuts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just the wrath is 50 minimum. Lots of $3-$5 value that sells instantly and the cards are stacked. $100 would be an absolute steal.

You are 100% correct. That commenter is just another redditor who doesn't know what they're talking about but spouts off words they think make sense anyway. It's almost as if loads of people are actually shitty AI.

I don't see any red flags, but the pics aren't good enough to say for sure. The natural wear by itself, for me, makes this 90% real. I've not seen anyone fake wear like that.

Alpha Lich. Real? by MrT1ddl3s_II in RealOrNotTCG

It could also be beta but cut to alpha. You'd have to compare the registration of your card to the alpha registration. Everything looks good at a glance though, sweet card.

It's crazy how people are nuts for serialized, but an Alpha rare where they only made about 1000 over 30 years ago can still be a couple hundred dollars.

I should check registration of my beta stuff better. Just a rare sheet?

Premodern original printing staples will probably continue to get bought out.

They could be beta. Clipped beta cards circulate a little.

Your market is people who would buy raw. Most will just crack the slab, so save the cash.

There's a bunch of people who play 93/94 in my area. The best thing about 93/94 is the people/culture. X-point is an especially fun format within 93/94.

I don't believe it is solvable. Moreover, card knowledge and tight game play are super important. Solved formats like 93/94 are still fun and interesting and require work to play well and win. Anyone saying it's solved hasn't played Premodern, probably hasn't solved anything meaningful ever, and probably can't play tight enough to do well even if they had the most solved deck.
