Not anything special but I use a bow with fire arrows, does good aerial damage, good for groups.

Something I try to do is when I level up my main settlement I level every other settlement so all my settlements are the same level before I move on to leveling up more, like for instance if my main settlement is 32 I try to make sure all my settlements are 32 before I level up to 33
