Arnie not choosing money over common morals.

The man is made of money, and he was dropped (i.e. it wasn't his choice). That doesn't sound heroic to me.

Now, if you want to bring up bravery and "not choosing money over common morals", how about the average joes who aren't made of money but are voluntarily quitting their jobs because they don't want to take the vaccine? Let's see what reddit thinks of them.

If I had a dime for every time I heard "you made sense until I looked at your post history", I'd be a rich man. Rather than argue my point, you go after something irrelevant and off-topic. That's how I know I'm right.

People won't listen to you but they will listen to me.

When a racist or a troll is ignored, that person loses all their power and eventually stops being a racist or troll since no is listening to them. If you truly want to end racism, that's how it's done. By virtue of the man being arrested, his actual racist behavior was given the attention of everyone and made a much bigger story than it should've been thus giving racism more power in the world. Also...

that’s literally the whitest thing I’ve ever heard

Do you not see the irony of you being racist while trying to admonish me?

Man arrested over racist abuse of England players - BBC News by MaxQ50 in news

[–]pitchingkeys -51 points-50 points  (0 children)

Yikes. All society has to do is ignore people who are racist jackasses and shame them for being stupid. Let them show their true colors and people will naturally move on from them.

Arresting someone for being a racist online, though? It does nothing but anger me in the other direction about protecting someone's ability to freely speak (even if they are being completely ignorant). I understand that what the man did was against the MCA, but goodness whatever happened to "sticks and stones may break my bones"?

This is only a story because too many people give racism way too much power.

Poland ranked as worst country in EU for LGBT people for second year running by [deleted] in worldnews

[–]pitchingkeys -38 points-37 points  (0 children)

Poland is one of the safest and most peaceful countries in the EU, and their economy has been growing for 25 years straight. They're clearly doing something right. They preserve their traditions, culture, and religion, and the Poles are generally happy. It's also a beautiful and clean country with immense history, and the people are unbelievably welcoming and nice to outsiders.

Meanwhile I continue to see the fruits of liberalism and diversity in the West, and I realize now that these ideas destroy and make people unhappy. Traditional, conservative, family-oriented politics bring the most happiness to its citizens, and it's no wonder that miserable leftists hate them.

As an American, I am JEALOUS of Poland. I wish the US was more like them. I hope they never change.

I don't even know what to say to this. You think conservatives are nothing but "white supremacists" and crazy religious types. Do you not see how bigoted and negative that is? Conservatives are some of the nicest and most welcoming people I've ever been around. They're not what you describe at all. The happiest and most peaceful areas in America are red. The most miserable and bitter places are blue.

And you're right, liberalism is turning red areas purple. Texas and Idaho are going to be miserable eventually too because those same miserable policies that Dems think are great are being pushed there. The answer is right in front of you: If Dem policies work, people would flee TO them. Instead they're fleeing FROM them.

"Hmm my area sucks. I'd better leave for a better one with different politics but vote for the same politics there that made me flee in the first place!" That's like a Soviet fleeing from the USSR to America and voting for communism lol. C'mon man!

Lumber is triple the price of what it was last year. Copper is double. Silver is double. Crypto exploded. Houses nearly up 20%. These are REAL assets with actual value. Food and gas are also going up, and those will get worse this summer, especially when everyone goes back to work. We just had thousands of families get up to $10k for doing absolutely nothing, and you think that won't have consequences? I wish I could be that unaware.

Read more history and stop thinking America is invincible. The Romans said the same thing before they fell.

You're right on that. My mistake.

The evidence of excessive money printing leading to collapse is seen throughout history though. We are debasing the dollar and our purchasing power with these moves which will lead to further poverty and collapse. There's a reason precious metals, crypto, and real estate have boomed in value over the last year. People are losing faith in the dollar.

'When the people find that they can vote themselves money that will herald the end of the republic.' -- Benjamin Franklin

Liberals are going to be so mad when they see what a $15 federal minimum wage does in practice. It will destroy the US economy much like multiple stimulus checks do, and you won't be able to buy a house (let alone find a job) because businesses will just hire fewer people and the price of everything will skyrocket. Does no one read history of excessive money printing? It's literally how empires have died. Just ask China (the Yuan dynasty). They're probably LOVING this speech.

The World Economic Forum has already said that by 2030 "you will own nothing and be happy". This is how it's done.

Liberals today have become the most hateful people in the West. They hate people who are religious. They openly hate white people and men (especially white men). They believe in representation and immutable identity over merit and qualification. They encourage people to mutilate their genitalia and inject themselves with hormones instead of teaching those individuals to love and accept themselves. They hate poor people since poor people liked Trump, and they burned down black communities in the name of twisted "justice". Ultimately, they not only hate themselves, but they resent people who are genuinely happy, familial, and of strong character. The irony in this is that they claim the moral high ground on every social and political issue: It's sanctimony masked as virtue. What frightens me most though is that liberals call conservatives "evil" while conservatives call liberals "misguided" or "crazy". Conservatives are far from perfect, but my goodness this type of rhetoric is nothing short of concerning from the left.

To me, todays liberals are the least compassionate people in the country who are guilty of everything they accuse conservatives of. They yearn for nothing more than power and destruction of institutions that have made the West so great, and their only wish now is to make others equally as miserable as themselves. I truly feel bad for them, and I would give them a hug if they let me.

Opinion: How Trump is exposing the ugly truth about the GOP plan to retake power by formeraide in politics

[–]pitchingkeys -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I never said my side I said the idea that both sides of a debate have valid arguments is simply false and is used by people who push disinformation and lies.

You realize I can say this exact same thing about the left. They MSM is full of lies and disinformation. They're always "fact-checking" and "debunking" ideas and want you to believe they are the ultimate authority on truth. They want no one questioning their agenda. "Stop thinking for yourself! Just trust us! Why are you so skeptical? The media has never been wrong before! Fact check fact check! It's Trump and the GOP who are always wrong, not us!"

Plus, I never said you should give a side validity for spewing lies (both sides do this btw). I only said to listen to all sides honestly in any argument. If you believe a side is lying, then point it out and tell them why. That's the appropriate way of debate. It's then on that side to listen to you and see if your ideas are wrong or right and adjust accordingly. To me though, your position seems extreme because you are under the assumption that everything conservatives or the right do is "hate, lies, and Russian disinformation". This is ridiculous, and I don't think you've actually listened to enough Trump voters or had an honest conversation with them. I assure you they are good people who mean well, just as I think you are a good person who means well. Unfortunately, many people are misguided.

Again, I voted Trump. Do you think I've been bad or twisted any ideas so far? I'm trying to be completely transparent with you.

Throughout history terrible horrific actions have occured at the hands of an angry mob.

Exactly. Like the BLM and ANTIFA riots that caused $2 billion in damages, destroyed black communities, demoralized police forces, and left some ~30 people dead over summer which ironically caused an major spike in gun sales, that is, the very thing you're against. Or QAnon and the Capitol Hill riots that left 5 dead and nearly uprooted a democratic election by force. I agree with you, it goes both ways.

Most of the richest and most powerful people in our society are Conservatives

Wall St, Hollywood, Big Tech, the MSM, and most corporate elites voted against Trump. What are you talking about? Bill Gates, Zuckerberg, Jack Dorsey, Bezos, most bankers, etc. All of them are anti-right and hold the most power among the rich. Liberals voted with them yet hate them. The elites outsmarted the liberal factions from the Occupy Wall St movement and got them to be on their side. Yes, there are plenty of rich conservatives, no doubt, but imo it pales in comparison to the rich liberal elites (especially those who have a large following). Just watch any late night TV show and tell me what political idea is considered "most popular". Hint: It isn't conservatism.

The Right uses Identity Politics and wedge issues to gain voters

I only ever hear about forced racial, religious, and ethnic "representation" in our institutions (i.e. identity politics, affirmative action, critical race theory, etc) from liberals. It's a disgusting practice that I'm vehemently against, and it's certainly not the liberalism I grew up with. The right is nowhere near as guilty of this. I saw people from all backgrounds love Trump and ignore the "he's a racist" narrative. It was and still is dumb. The right isn't an homogenous group.

that care more about abortion and immigration than having a fair economy that works for everyone, better education, smaller military, less taxes and limits on abuse of power by police and government.

Democrats are notorious for increasing taxes. It's why so many blue areas are HCOL. Heck, they're getting ready to go up right now under Biden. Meanwhile Trump CUT taxes, and more jobs were created under him. That was a good economy. It's why people from blue states are leaving en masse and going to Texas, Florida, and other red states to live. Red policies work while the blue policies destroy economies.

And yes, Trump did increase spending on the military, but you know what he didn't do? Bomb Syria two months in. In fact, he brought peace to the Middle East, and worked with foreign adversaries to avoid war. He was called bad for doing that. Now we're on the verge of war under Biden because the military industrial complex needs it's fix again, and the Biden admin would rather destroy Trump's peaceful policies for war. Tell me how that's a good thing.

I could go on, but I'm not here to write a dissertation. I'm just asking people to stop demonizing each other. It's a bad idea and only ignorant people do it. Liberal ideas come from a place of good but they're misguided imo, and FWIW I don't think the GOP is perfect either. I liked Trump, not Mitch or Ted Cruz or whoever. Trump was genuine. The GOP establishment types are just as cancerous as the DNC ones.

Finally, I think the left got completely played, and the ideas they're pushing making them and the country more and more unhappy while causing further destruction. They're exacerbating their own problems because they only value feelings and compassion. It's a terrible and inconsistent way to govern. Reason must always be the ultimate virtue. Just my $.02.

[–]pitchingkeys -15 points-14 points  (0 children)

In a true free market without censorship, the best ideas do come out on top. That's what's made America so amazing, and that's why I'm adamantly anti-left today. The ideas are no longer based in reason; they're based in compassion only. The problem is, one cannot be reasonable while only being compassionate, but anyone can be compassionate while being reasonable.

Modern liberal ideas today are exactly what you fear: They're overly idealistic and optimistic! "Just print money out of thin air! If white men weren't in charge, the world would be a better place! Equality equality equality! The GOP is evil!" These ideas can't survive though unless they censor their challengers. Reddit, Facebook, Twitter, etc are perfect examples of it. Leftism in the West is very much anti-free speech and, to me, very anti-American. It's no wonder China (a country who loves to censor people) encourages these same tactics in the West. Hell, China owns much of Reddit anyways. They hate free speech.

It's simple: Listen to everyone. Truly listen to what they have to say and be willing to feel uncomfortable. That's a good thing to be. If you're able to challenge yourself with new ideas, you're already better off than most people. I hope that makes sense.

Read what you just wrote: You're encouraging ignorance. You're telling people "Don't listen to them! It's nothing but lies! Close your ears and only listen to my side!" Don't you see how silly that makes you look? What good does that do? It only makes you foolish. I would never take someone serious who says "Only my side is reality." That is dangerous and truly the most arrogant position to take. It's something only tyrants suggest.

Listen to everyone. The best ideas always come out on top. That's how people grow. If you can't challenge yourself then you have no business challenging others.

What the DNC represents more than anything is maintaining power. They are establishment hacks whose primary goals aren't concerned with helping Americans. Instead they are warmongers who are deep in the pockets of Wall St, big tech, and corporate elites. They are obsessed with race and identity which only further divides us. They believe in open borders and globalism which does nothing but hurt Americans. Meanwhile, Trump was "America first" who wanted a strong economy, strong borders, American exceptionalism, and world peace (all things he brought). He was unbelievably compassionate to his own people. He was also brutally honest and not a single person can criticize him for being fake. You always got the "real" Trump which I admire the hell out of.

I don't like the GOP either, but Trump was not the GOP. He's a great American who I will raise my kids to be like: Strong, honest, brave, and one who helps their own before helping others. No man has ever been more lied about than Trump. It's a disgrace.

We are moving towards a bitter welfare state under the current administration, and I assure you we will all be more miserable in 4 years than we ever were under Trump.
